So Bella is healing well from the horrible groomer she encountered on monday. Although i sent them an email I have yet to hear back. She is going to the vet every other day to make it is healing and she cant play rough or go on any walks for 10 days. Here she is:)

I am so glad to hear that she is getting better. She sure is a pretty little thing. What a horrible thing to happen, especially when you are trusting someone with your baby! It sounds like you have also calmed down a bit, thank goodness. I know when our babies are hurt it just sends us right through the roof. Then it grates on you for days. Doing the ,"What if ??" thing. I am just glad she is back home with you!

That groomer should have gotten back to you by now. I hope that you are making them pay these vet bills. Not just the ones from their vet, but the ones from your own. She looks so cute in her heart bandage. I'm glad that she is doing better. Are you going to groom her at home from now on?

Thank you guys.. not to drag it out- but for the people that didnt see my original thread- bella was cut at the groomer on her throat last monday. VERY badly- It is healing well but here is the picture. Although my boyfriend is the one that picked her up- I was too upset to speak to the groomer over the phone so I sent her an email- not an angry email just an email kind of wanting an apology. They ARE paying the bill, but no apology yet. Oh well... here is the wound again.

SO glad that Bella is doing better. I have been worried about her. She definitely looks much happier. I am sure having a good mommy to take care of her is a big help to her healing!

OMG! How could a groomer do that? Did they do it with scissors or clippers? Thats just carelessness! Im glad she is doing better.

Poor Bella. I can't believe that she got cut so bad. Gross negligence . Shame on them. Are you gonna learn how to do her yourself now. I would be so tempted to do it myself if I were in your place.

OK, so now I am really scared of taking Trevor to be groomed. I try to do it myself, but he has me wrapped around his little finger, and if he so much as twinges, I stop because I'm afraid of hurting him. HELP

The same here She moves I quit and I not really doing much and she doesn't like it and the groomers is worry me to take her there ...I am glad shes doing better

I am glad that Bella is doing better. That cut still amazes me especially when they called it a nick! No way, no how. That bandage is really cute, though.

That is the worst yet. I would picket that place and get the word out to everyone so that they don't do that to another little fur-kid. How horrible!!
For all of you that want to groom your own baby and dont' have any or a little experience, then I suggest not useing scissors at all. Just start out useing clippers and comb. It's doable!

Oh my word, I would have caused untold amounts of scenes at the groomer... Shame the poor girl. I am glad she is getting better!

I swear that must never happen to me, I will be put in jail for assault! :D

I agree with this! I mean, I could see knicking an ear, or something minor like that, but not the throat! i'm happy she is doing better!

You need to go in there with your vet bills and have them pay. If they wont then its time to get a lawyer. Im so sorry this happened to Bella. Remember its imperative to document every conversation, take lots of photos and statements from your vet..Good Luck. We all stand behind you.....Lissette

Oh my gosh! Poor Bella! :( I somehow missed the original thread. That is a huge cut! :eek: I am so sorry it happened to you and your furkid. I am glad to hear that she is doing better now. Sending hugs.
