Petland Rallies Another nationwide demonstration is taking place at Petland stores from 1 to 3 p.m. (unless otherwise indicated) on Saturday, March 14, and we want you to be there! At these peaceful, lawful demonstrations we will be asking Petland again to please stop selling puppies! Contact your local organizer with any questions that you may have. We will supply the signs and flyers; all you need to do is show up. Unless otherwise noted where to meet, please assemble only on the public walkways in front of the strip mall. There is no Petland in my area or anywhere very close, but I hope there is a huge turnout for the protest at all of the Petlands. I will cross post this link though, thanks! |

Did anyone else go today to a protest rally? Bubba, Roxy & I went --- and we got to meet Missiemiss & Fro!! It was fun to meet another YTer! Lots of support for those driving by. Two TV stations were there & the organizer said it was a record for the number of people who showed up!! It was a good day - plus good weather, sunny & in the low 50s - a bit windy -- but we're ready to go again!! Plus, after it was over, we went down to Three Dog Bakery & treated the furbabies to some fresh made treats & we sat & talked! |
Yes we DID HAVE A GREAT DAY!!! It was great meeting you and your babies too! Fro slept all the way home. He came home and told the girls about his travels and experiences and then shared his Bakery treats with them. Ahhhhhhhhh I'm gonna check the news stations and the humane society pages - I'm sure they will have coverage there too! It's alway fun to do a meetup - even when there are just a couple of us!!! |
that wind must have been rougher than I realized - my lips are so chapped now & my eyes hurt/skin feels dry - I should have had my sun glasses on -- but still so worth it! |
