I wouldn't worry to much about his eating as long as he isn't losing weight. He will eat when he is hungry. I have never known a dog that starved itself to death. Leave his food down where he can eat when he wants to and keep an eye on his weight. If he starts losing weight then contact your Vet. Chances are it is a hormone thing and will pass in time. |
I would def. talk to the vet and get the liver test just to be on the safe side. I also think he's missing daddy a little. Whenever any member of the pack leaves our home Bailey is sad (no matter where they are in the pack). He likes his whole pack to be together. I think the bottom line here is to rule some things out with a vet :0) xoxo |
I would always get someting like this checked out with the vet first. When I had my two yorkies ( recently passed), One was a great eater, the other always quirky. The quirky one developed a phobia with his dish--became afraid of it. We changed the dish. We changed the location of the dish when later in life he became more needy and wanted to be near us when he ate. I would be cautious about adding things to his food to encourage eating. That can develop an even pickier eater. The sudden messing and wetting sounds like a health issue--definitely have it checked out thouroughly. |
Well this morning he was back to peeing on the pad, but last night it was at random places everywhere. Not in the same spots - in spots he's never peed before. :-( |

I\'d consider doing a urinalysis. |
