No peace for mama!
 
Macy has been a total attention HOG today! I dont get it! Every day shes in my lap, no biggie, but usually does her own thing too... We started off the day with a nice cuddle, then the usual morning routeine with kids going to school, ect.

I get home, groom her bum (was getting too long) and shaving her ears down. She was, as normal, excellent during grooming. She always just flops over in my lap and lets me do what needs to be done (cant get her to stand up for grooming for anything, but hay at least she doesnt fight it!). But ever since, shes been super cuddle bug!! Literally fighting for lap space with my toddler. ALL DAY LONG! She keeps following me into the bathroom, and everytime i sit anywhere, there she is in my lap.

Dont get me wrong, im not mad, but i dont understand the constant need for attention out of no where! I mean, if you shaved my bum, i'd be pretty ticked off and stay away from you, lol :confused:

That was her way of thanking you for 'cleaning' her up!!!!:p

Maybe she is just having one of those days. She wants a little more loving today!

:yeahthat: That is my first thought. Some days ya just need a little more loving from your Momma. It can be a little irritating when those days come along, you have trouble getting the simplest of chores done. But I just sigh and realize it for the gift that it is and spend some extra time with them.

How is she so far today?

They live for our attention
and sometimes they get the idea
Hey if I demand it or keep pestering .... they give in
so be fair .... give them loving affection when you want
but don't give ibn to the pestering ;)

Hehe, as soon as i woke up she started pouncing on me, brought 4 of her toys up, and sat in my lap fiddling with them all :rolleyes:

I think ive spoiled her a bit! I started homecooking for her, mixing with her wet food. now she wont eat anything else :rolleyes: I tried mixing with kibble, and she pushed it all to one side :p Oh well, my skin babies are spoiled too :D

Violet has days like that, too. Sometimes she seems to want her own space, and she'll go the kitchen and lay on her blankets there. Other times, she wants to be ON TOP of me all day long. It gets old. But Violet has been sick and in the hospital the last few days, and I was thinking last night that I'd give anything to have her happy and trying to crawl all over me and demand a seat in my lap. :)

Now she is crying and barking at the back door anytime DH or I go outside without her :confused: She goes frantic! This is new :eek:
