This was so sad :( Read the story through the video. I really could NEVER give up my dog to move to a no-pet apartment. I just wouldn't do it. Don't care how tough times are, I would make something work out somehow. So sad. |

Very Sad:crying: |
That was so sad! I would never ever ever give my dogs up. I love them. They are part of my family. I have spent $1000'f to fix things that need to be fixed...from legs to getting things removed...I love them so much and I would never give them up. I would look for somewhere else to give! |
It is fine to cry but what are you willing to do to make a change? There are so many homeless pets in this country. Right now there are 150,000 on Petfinder.comof which 850 are Yorkies. Approximately 1,000,000 are put to death each month. What are you willing to do to help? I have 3 that are all a form of rescue and 1 foster pup. I cannot save them all but if I can make a difference for a few.................... |
Agree 100% This is incredibly sad....crying as I'm writing this.. At work we'd just talked about how tough it is these days to rent when you have dogs and what we'd do if we had to choose between a nice place to live or our dogs. I could NEVER, NEVER, EVER in a million years give up my dogs for an appartment. Or choose not to get them vet treatment when needed or let them want for ANYTHING! I know, my in-laws think I'm crazy for being this attached to an animal. I get ridiculed on a regular basis for being 'dog crazy' and 'humanizing my dogs', etc..So what! You don't take on the responsibility of owning a dog and then change your mind when things get tough. My dogs have always been there for me and I would never let them down. :animal36:aimeeyork |
I would not give my dog up for absolutely no one or anything, I would become homeless before I had to move to no pet apartment, poor dog. |
Oh my gosh! I live in a no pet apartment and they're trying to take Prada away! I just posted a thread about it. |

I used to live in a no pet apartment when I rescued my stray cat from the streets. I knew it was a no-pet apartment but I was prepared to move if it came down to that. There was no way I was going to give her up when I nursed her back to health and feel absolutely in love with her. I felt so strongly that I had started looking for another apartment but fortunately the manager was a cool person. I lost my security deposit when I moved out but I still have my cat. That was 10 yrs ago. With all of the apartments that are willing to accept pets for an additional fee, there is no way no one should ever have to choose a place to live over their pets. |
