Do you know what you call this clip? I have a bow with a clip on, and I want to put similar clips on my bows instead of bands. I'll try to describe it. It has two sides which are joined at the top and bottom (so is like a rectangle, maybe a bit more curved). To close it, the other side (which is attached to the bow), is a small bit of metal which pushes in the middle, between the two horizontal sides, and the head is slightly thicker that the gap so it cant slide back out again. I have searched for barrettes but they all look the same, and not what I have. Sorry its so hard to explain, will try and get a pic up. Thanks |
it is a french barrette clip like in this ebay listing? :) Lot of 50 60mm French Clips- Hair Bow Hairbow Barrette - eBay (item 350163105790 end time Apr-07-09 08:25:48 PDT) |
No thats not it. Thanks for looking though. trying to upload them now. |
2 Attachment(s) Hopefully attachments work |
I just looked at those Michelle, sorry. I think the ones I sent you the link too are like the ones I have, they barrette does stay in their hair and it has the bow attached. You kind of push on the edges of the barrette to open |

Thanks for looking. I will try the barrettes if I cant find the other type of clip. |
Those look like the kind of barrettes I wore when I was a little girl, and I'm almost 49, now. We called them "barrettes", lol. I've been looking for barrettes, too, that will stay in. Do most of you secure the hair with a band and then attach the barrette around the little pony tail? |
Just wondering if anyone else has seen these? |
Go to www.ladysbows.com click home down to barrettes the middle one.Don't know if that is it but looks like it is. |
