Emergency!!! Prayer Needed
 
I sent this to the "sick and injured" site, but I noticed there were more people on this one. I desperately need prayer for my 4 Month old Yorkie, n Tucker. He became very lethargic last night, and couldn't walk. He was almost paralyzed. He was taking Nutrical the entire time. He's not Hypoglycemic, but there is something terrible wrong with him. He has seen the IMust go. Have company, but please, please pray for my babyI couldn't bear to lose him. My husband and I love him so much. I grieved for two years for the Malti Zhu I lost, and didn't get another puppy until
Christmas. My husband gave him to me as a gift. I told him it was the most precious Christmas gift I had ever received. Tucker's Mom

Thank you so much. I know prayer helps, and it is of great comfort to know you care. The vet we took him to this morning isn't my regular vet, but he was when I lived in Knoxville. We now have a home in Al, but kept our condo in Knoxville. My grandchildren are here. At least we have the UT Vet School of Veterinary Medicine here. If more needs to be done, we will take him there. He was also walking in circles when he did attempt to walk last night. I know that is a symptom of Liver Shunt, but the vet said his liver wasn't swollen. He thought it might be a central system problem. Of course, we can't rule out LS. The vet medicated him, and told me to take him to UT's Critical Care Specialist if he doesn't improve. I am thanking God that we are in a place with so many resources.

There's nothing worse than worrying about your furbaby. I had a puppy that ran in circles and kept falling down. We lived in Tucson, AZ at the time. He passed away and we found out later that all the puppies in that litter passed as well. It was just a little mutt, but it tore our family apart. We cried and grieved for months. It took us a long time to get another pet. But this puppy was only 8wks old. More prayers for you! Please keep us informed...It'll be on my mind all day!!!! :hands:

I am so glad you are close to UT. Tucker will get the best care there. I will keep your Tucker in my prayers.
