chicken strips Does anyone know where I can purchase chicken strips for my yorkies that are made in the usa at a reasonable price? I used to buy the ones at costco, but they are also made in china. My yorkies love these as a treat, but I will not buy anymore because I don't want to take a risk. Has anyone ever made them? My yorkies will thank you!!!! I personally trust and would only buy from Kona's Chips : Home |
I was also going to suggest Kona's chips! Maddie and Libby love them...they smell so good it's hard to resist not taking a bite myself! |
Thanks for posting the link! I will have to try them. They look like they are made with some healthy ingredients. |
Yep....Kona's Chips are the way to go! :D |

chicken strips Thank you so much for your input. I think it is such a wonderful thing that we can get together and discuss our yorkies and our concerns. Everyone is always so helpful. My yorkies thank you also!!!! |
Just a heads up about Kona's Chips..... We had two Maltese on another forum get sick recently (vomiting & diarrhea) after eating Kona's Chips. They have just become a paid advertiser and they were free samples. Apparently, they can spoil if they aren't refrigerated quickly. One member's samples arrived while they were out of town so they sat in the mailbox for a day. Another did refrigerate them, but she lives on the East Coast and they ship from California. Another member said she had a bag that got moldy. The vet who treated one of the dogs recommended contacting the company and suggesting that they clearly state on the outside of the package that they need to be kept cool and are perishable to protect them during transit. Since both these episodes happened during the winter, I'm not sure how they could be safely mailed in the warmer weather. Just to be clear, these are isolated incidents and most people haven't had a problem, but it is something to be aware of. |
