What to do with our little muchkin??? Well, Kayla is now one and half and she goes out to tee (sometimes) They just got through eating their dinner and Tina and Lexi went out the doggie door. I saw Kayla go the other direction. I ran after her and tried to coach her out the door. She looked at me and ran. She knew exactly what she was doing was wrong. By the time I got to her she was already potting. What do you do with one that knows what to do and will still not do it? She is going to be a little ole lady yorkie still not potty trained one of these days. (We love the little wart anyway.) |
My only suggestion is maybe she'd be happier using potty-pads, if that's an option. Maybe there's something about going outside that she doesn't like. |

Now mind you this is based on my opinion and experience - every one seems to have their own way of doing. Go enjoy your baby:D |
Thanks everyone for your answers. I know it sounds like she is spoiled, which she is, but we have been pretty diligent with her. My husband even gets up still after this length of time and takes her out about 2:00a.m. I can't use potty pads because she would run with them and tear them up. I do agree with not giving treats. She is already a little butter ball. I can't close off the doggie door because of the other 2, but, I may just try taking her out the side door and see if that works. I think she is stubborn and we have let her get by with everything. We are just going to have to try harder. Thanks again. |
