Help, yorkie wont bond  I RESCUED A 3 1/2 YR OLD FEMALE YORKIE WITH A HEART MURMUR, THAT IS GOING TO KILL HER. I GOT HER FOR MY 77 YR OLD MOTHER. I BUILT A ROOM FOR MY MOTHER TO LIVE IN, AND WHILE THIS ROOM WAS BEING BUILT ANGEL LIVED WITH ME AND I TOOK CARE OF HER. WELL AFTER MOM MOVED IN AND GOT ANGEL SHE WILL HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH NOBODY BUT ME... WHAT CAN I DO. ANY SUGGESTIONS? THANKS FOR HELP CAROL |
Have your mom be the sole care giver for several weeks. All food, attention, treats, walks, access to outside, play...everything, needs to be provided by your mom. It'll be tough at first, but stick with it and she should bond with your mom. |
Yep. Unsurprisingly, Yorkies bond with the bearer(s) of good things. If the dog isn't one of the gregarious types that bonds quickly with any human, just have your Mother provide the dog with everything that's good in life. |
They get attached to the one who feeds them... |
