Nikko is sound asleep on the couch now, all snug in his onesie and twitching in his dreams. He's a couple ounces over five pounds, and the newborn onesies fit him just perfectly. I'm afraid though, that the hardest part is going to be trying to keep him from being too active. We've puppy-proofed the living room, so as soon as he was big enough, he's been using our couches like jungle gyms and the carpet as his racetrack, lol. And he's a squirmy little worm too, when he doesn't want to sit still.
Well, at least it seems that the hardest part is over. I'm still a little bit in shock over how difficult this neutering was for me, as self-centered as that sounds. LOL, I'm generally not a very emotional person, and I really thought I would be fine, but this hit me hard! All that matters though, is that Nikko is home safe and sound. And fortunately he doesn't seem phased in the slightest by his testosterone removal surgery. It's all I can do right now to keep from petting him and touching him, and otherwise 'annoying' him while he's trying to nap! Attachment 268044 Attachment 268043
