The web site doesn't show the posting date of messages, at least I couldn't find it. Has the little Yorkie been rescued from the kill shelter? You can write me at countryoasis@comcast.net I am in New Mexico, next door, in Albq area, and have three Yorkies and one large dog. Could foster the Yorkie at the least until home found. countryoasis@comcast.net |
I tried calling again at lunch but still just got voicemail. I will continue trying until I can verify that Little Bit was indeed adopted. Thanks John |
Yorkie in very high kill shelter I sent a message to the writer of the posting, and called and left a message at the animal shelter. No reply yet. Am posting at ten pm, and still waiting to hear if the Yorkie is still available. I can drive from Albuquerque to get him, have three other Yorkies and love them dearly. Please post if he finds a home so I will quit worrying. Thanks. countryoasis@comcast.net |
There are three threads on Little Bit. He has been adopted. Sheila |
Update of Little Bit I received an email this morning. He was adopted on 3/3/09 Hopefully to a good forever home where he can share all his love and get loved by another person. In case you didn't know, his owner died recently and the family didn't want to keep him for some reason. I'm sure they had a good reason for turning him in. I'm just glad he was saved and has another family. Thanks John :) |
Good, I was going a little crazy thinking he might still be sitting there! Thanks John! |

One of the easiest ways to help with rescue is to volunteer or donate. You do not necessarily have to foster but any help is always appreciated. Some of the things that ALL RESCUES are looking for is transport help (picking up from a shelter or surrender), craft help to raise funds, making phone calls and of course donations. So employers even have programs that match charitable cash donations dollar for dollar. Rescues run on ALL VOLUNTEER AND ALL DONATIONS so if you can please try to help even if you think it is small lots of small add up to BIG~:animal36 Every little bit helps to save these babies. The more help the more that can be saved. :) |
Yorkie in very high kill shelter I got a message Lil Bit was adopted on 3/3/09.;) Let us hope he has found his forever home. |
