I don't know,I think you should pass on this. The dog is only 2 mths old:eek: she couldn't have had her more than 2 weeks .Why can't she return her to the breeder(concern here)?she is young enough to be re-placed in a loving forever home.If she has all her papers and is utd on shots then she should also have a bill of sale and I would want to see it.I know you feel for her in this time but do not get taken. This just doesn't make sense, she buys a dog from an (irreputable) breeder(I say this because of her age) and within 2 weeks or less wants to give her up:(.Didn't she know say 2 weeks prior she would be moving or evicted.I don't mean to be so negative but the circumstances bring up a whole load of other questions If you go ahead with this I would have her accompany me to the vet and price her according to what if anything is going on with her. This just sounds so immature on her part(just because you have yorkies does not mean you are willing to take on someone else's oops). On the other hand this baby definately needs to be out of the home with her. Whatever you decide good luck to you and just do your home work. |
I wonder why your neighbour got herself such a young yorkie, when she was planning to move appartments. As has already been posted, she must have only had her for 2 weeks at the most. I think maybe you should pass on this one also, especially as you have only recently adopted a 2nd pup. Maybe the fact that you are asking everyone on here, means you are having doubts, and should say no? |
I think i would ask a few questions before buying her, like what breeder she came from, health guarantee? if you can take her to the vet and have her checked out etc. Good luck with whatever decision you make |
Well did you get her???!!! :D |

Puppy is only 8 weeks old??? Poor baby. I can't imagine taking one away from it's mother any earlier than that... I will beg to differ on whether a third is more "work"...of course they are. It's another to bath, another to brush, another to house train, not to mention the necessary vet expenses...especially with a puppy this age. She's not even old enough to have had any vaccinations. Just some considerations...I enjoy all of mine. Heck it takes me two trips to get all of mine in the car. |

but if you pay $700-$800 for her, by the time your neighbor got her (at 6-8 weeks old?) she should not have had ANY shots yet and at the very most 1, so you are going to incur the cost of a couple more vet visits, 2-3 more rounds of puppy shots, spaying her, etc if you truly WANT another one, then i say GO FOR IT :D but in the long run, she is going to cost you much more than her purchase price |

Ya-did ya end up taking her?? |
We want you to get her......Please and post some more pics for us..Just love your pics...lissette |
I can't wait to hear what you did!!!! Knocking on your puter screen.....LOL:D |
Yessssssssss!!!! |
If I were you I would take her in an instance. I guess we are just use to having 3. We have lost 2 schnauzers in the past 2 yrs. That is when we bought our first yorkie. I now have 2 schnauzers and a yorkie with 1 schnauzer being almost 12. When she passes I will get another yorkie. They are not near as much work to groom. Soooo, I say go for it. |
I'd do it in a heart beat. |
