This is hysterical I read the post about the giggling ball, so I went to KB toys here in Buena Park to get one for my boys. Well, I bought the ball, but I found another toy (on special no less) that really have the boys going crazy. It is called the "Frantic Ferret" it is a colored ball with an inner ball that has flashing lights, moves itself, plays the theme from the "Our Gang" series and has a fur tail. This things is nuts, it moves across the floor with its lights flashing, music blaring and the tail enticing the boys. They love it!!! Bark, chase, run by it like it is going to reach out and grab them, etc. The best part was I got TWO for SIX dollars. Really funny!!!! |
I want one! :) |
Too bad the KB toys went out of business in our town...sounds like hours of entertainment for dogs and humans alike! |
How fun! I wish we had a KB toys around here. Our went out of business. |
That sounds so funny Millie - You love those boys so much.... I can just picture you sitting there laughing your butt off while they lose their minds. :D |
I really want one. We tried the Bumble Ball, but Lucky is scared of it. |
I tried buying all kinds of balls for Desi. She doesn't like balls of any kind.. what kind of Yorkie is she  |

MillieC, I'm gonna check out that frantic ferret! Our KB went out of business as well. I liked that store! Maybe I can find it on the internet somewhere. Thanks for telling us about it. Bo loves loves loves loves, did I say, he loves balls!!! |
I have thrown away destroyed yellow quacking ducks from Petsmart that the girls have just loved. I was buying them 3 at a time but went back yesterday and they were out. So disappointed, we have one left that Lacey is protecting from Chloe. When I tell them to get a toy for play, that's the favorite. I sure hope they come in soon, haven't seen them anywhere else. I'm not familiar with this store or the toy but it sounds great. Maybe I'll look for it as well. |
The ferret ball we bought just rolls and flips it's tail. They were afraid of it at first but then they tore the tail off of it. LOL After that they wouldn't play with the ball, I think it was because it has a hard surface and they couldn't grab it in their mouths. AIM; try putting it in a pillow case or under a blanket. If he won't play with it that way, teach him to chase after your hand under the blanket. All my Yorkies love to try to catch your hand under the covers. I think it brings out the terrier in them.
