Humping a Teddy bear
 
Hello,

My female Yorkie is 11 months now and I have found her humping (grinding her pelvis) into a teddy. She isn't bleeding and her vagina isnt swollen. Its normal size. I don't know what this means. Can anyone clarify?

Thanks. P.s. she hasn't had her first heat yet.

Shes just showing dominance. I have a male that does the same thing and have heard people on her talk about their female doing it.

Both of my boys do it - I just say leave him alone he's with his girlfriend....To me it's just nature and who can be mad at that.

Thanks. I wonder when she'll go into her first heat as she's already 11 months. Are there any signs I should be looking out for? I know about the "show" or swelling. Anything else?

Uno is only 4 months old, and he is always harassing the other dogs and "humping" them.. should he be doing that this early? ....any tips to get him to stop? My other dogs seem to be pretty annoyed with it.

Mac humped everything in sight at a very early age. (I would not have put it past him to have been humping his sister inutero). It finally stopped when he was neutered.His favorite was humping Mellies head and yes she would just look up at with that "that oh would you just stop already look". It finally stopped when he was neutered.

I always heard once they are fixed they would stop - seems someone forgot to tell my boys - both are fixed and my older one just started doing it and he is 18 months old.....boys......what can you say.....don't know anything about girls but I bet your vet could help you with more information. Both of my girls do it--heat or no heat. Although, Daphne (my pom) is in heat right now and she hasnt humped, Trixie on the other hand, loves her monkey-luvin' hehe

My Daisy is only 3 1/2 Mths and She humps are adult cat !!
Poor cat !!
I read that it is a way They show the cat or other things that They are Boss of the house :D !!

Oh yes, my Ce-Ce thinks she owns everything in my place. She's the boss! I just thought maybe she was coming into heat or something. I guess it's coming soon as she's already 11 months. I knew that boys did the humping but never knew girls did it too... too funny. Luckily she does it to the teddy dog, and not anything that's live, including my leg.. haha..
