Stolen Furbaby !! In are search for a little boy I called Daisy's breeder (really good people) and He was telling Me that Daisy's Daddy was on the porch (all fenched in with baby gates) and He went in the house to grab something for Him for 3 seconds and someone took Him that quick !! How terriable. The gates were still up and there is no way that He could have jumped He is very small and well trained plus They searched right away and nothing !! He told Us to watch Daisy very close because He turned for 3 seconds and gone that fast. There is times when I leave Daisy on the porch in Her play yard while I grab something inside quick, but never again !! Yea I have heard of it happening way too often. I dont leave my dogs in the yard unattended to. |
As if I was protective enough...that is really scary!! |
How SAD I hope the person that took him have a change of heart and return. Some people you could just......well you know....I put locks on my yard fence I was worried of just that happen. I would just go nuts if something happened to my boys. |
How horrible. I hope they find the person who stole the dog. |
How sad :( I hope he is found and returned soon. |
That is so sad :( I hope they find him safe and sound soon! |
That is seriously my worst nightmare. Even when we are at the dog park and sometimes people w/o dogs come in and play with the dogs....I walk right over and start talking to them and stay there until they leave cuz I am afraid they are trying to make an opportunity to snatch one!! I feel so suspicious but you can never be too careful in my book! :( |
How sad and horrible. I can't believe what people do. Unfortunately the breed we all love is the most targeted right now for thiefs. |
OMG - I REALLY hope someone helps that poor baby and returns him to his home - how sad for him and how sad for his people.......he must be so scared |
Thats aweful. I can't imagine how those people must feel. I hope he ends up back home soon. Keep us posted. |
I had a chain link fence with cement under it to keep the dogs from digging out, AND padlocks on the gates and I left my black peke out for an hour in the a.m., and he was gone! They came down the alley, jumped the fence and grabbed him. A neighbor saw, but couldn't get license plate. I never saw him again. I learned the hard way - never leave your kids (skin or fur) for a minute. So sad. |
Very sad story indeed. This happens all too often, especially now that people are charging hundreds of dollars for a mixed breed small dog. They can sell a yorkie on the street corner for drug money in less than five minutes. We have several off leash parks in our city and many dogs have been stolen while the owners chat. I don't take my dogs to those parks, no point in advertising that I have three. I take mine out to a remote beach, it is a little more driving but well worth it in the end. At least I don't have to be constantly looking over my shoulder. |
What kind of person would want to take a baby away from it's family! It really ticks me off! I pray that it never happens to me. I want to put locks on my back yard fence, but we have to have to lock be accessible for the meter man to check our meter. So even though it might be locked, it can still be unlocked too from the outside. I hope and pray it never happens to me baby. And I also hope that the poor baby gets home, one way or another. It's too bad, such a shame that things like this happen. |
Stories like this are the reason i will not leave bentley out of my site! What is the world coming to!? |
Don't I know their anguish! I am so, so sorry to hear this. I'm praying that the little dog will be found. :( |
I can't even imagen how I would feel or what I would do..... I think a call to the FBI might be in order.... Headlines read "Crazy Yorkie Mom puts out an APB out on a 5 pound furbaby" I hope that the dog bites the person whole stole him! |
I think instead of micro chips we need to come up with a lo-jack of some sort. There is a special place in he** for anyone that would do such a thing! Lots of prayers for Daisy's Daddy. |
I am so sorry to read about this yorkie missing, It just makes me ill inside. dianne and prudence  |
too bad, I feel so bad for you. Hope he is returned to you! |
That happened to me with my first yorkie, Nockie. I was really young but my grandma was housebreaking him, so he was staying with her. She took him outside in the backyard (over 6 foot wooden fence), then the phone rang inside. She answered the phone, no one was there, and when she went back outside he was gone. She saw him one time after that, years later, and the person had the nerve to be walking him on the street my grandma lived on. She called out to him and he tried to come to her but the person quickly picked him up and took off. You can NEVER be too careful with your babies. |
