Please i need help! I need help. I am getting ready to run an ad...that will start tomorrow...and is limited to 7 tiny lines...and need to know if what i have is enough info. 02/20/09 - webb & pawnee - needs med - cash reward no ? Ask - microchipped - call PHONE NUMBER and it will have his picture also. |
A cash reward might entice a puppy napper to give the puppy up!!! I pray every day you will find yoshi! |
although it would infuriate me to no end to have to give my hard earned money to a puppy napper to get MY dog back! it may be what you have to do to get the guily party to fess up |
I think you should have on there somewhere yorkie missing |
I can't think of anything else to ad to it. We're praying hard for Yoshi's safe return! God bless. |
I would just say "Reward" and leave out the word "cash", I also would not say he's microchipped. I like the idea of putting in "needs Meds" I think that will make someone more likely to return him. I agree with Chachi, use the word Yorkie. |
I would add something about "Dog Missing" or "Yorkie Missing". I don't know if I'd say he was chipped....what if they can find a way to have the chip info changed? I would also say "Needs Meds ASAP" - to imply urgency of a health issue. |

You must be going out of your mind, best of luck, if you haven't already seen it this thread has some great tips. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...st-yorkie.html |
I would add, if possible "CASH REWARD" or "NO QUESTIONS ASKED WHEN RETURNED" Maybe the puppy snatchers will bring yoshi home if they know you won't turn them in to the police? Let's hope. Good Luck....Sophie's Mom:animal-pa |
Oh and one more thing. Keep an eye out on "Craigs List". We just had an incident a few towns away from me where a neighbor stole this woman's two dogs (they ran out the back fence) and sold them on Craig's List. The puppy snatcher claimed they were her Aunt's dogs and the Aunt passed away! It's amazing the extremes people will go to just to get money. It does have a happy ending. Dogs are home with Mommy and the neighbor has been arrested! WOO HOOOOO! -- Sophie's Mom -- |
KJlive, I have heard a lot of that lately. They say that Yorkies are the number 1 target of nappers because of the price. I agree with everyone else, say that the puppy is in need of meds. That might play on their heart, if they have one. Also don't give up hope that he is still out there with someone who does not know what to do about finding the owner. |
I dont think I would put he was microchipped because that might actually stop the person from taking him to a vet....no? |

Yes, I agree. As long as the chip co is aware this pup is missing that is all that is needed. Don't let them know he can be traced threw a vet visit. Hopefully if he is taken to the vet the vet will check for a chip and see that he is registered to someone else. I feel so sad for you honey. I know your going crazy with worry. Good luck with the ad. Finger's crossed you get good news. Hugs, |

I am praying for his safe return. |
thank you to all..i did state that he was microchipped...but good thing i selected the wrong category so they rejected my ad...so i had to call in and place another...which will begin on Sunday. thanks for everyone's input! |
I live in California, Bay Area. I was advised and did file a police report when my dog was taken. I did not see the crime...I still do not know what happened. But it is the same as when you lose your wallet or purse. You a should file a report should any future use of your credit cards, checks etc. I know your baby is much more valuable...believe me. But should you come across someone you see has your dog, or calls and shows interest in the reward, but acts strange, or wants more money...you can call the police. If you have not been advised of this already, you should also meet the person in a safe place like a vet (who is you called in advance and explain your situation) or your local pet store. Do not ever let them come to your house... I hope someone contacts you about Yoshi!!! |
