Harness... Maddy has some "decorative bling" but only for show, not for function :) |
IF you do use a collar to keep ID tags on them, please use a break away collar. These are usually sold as kitten collars and will open if caught up on something. |
yep, harness here too. |

I am a big fan of the Puppia harness, that is all I use for walking but SophieKate does wear a collar with her tags (I am afraid she would slip out the door some day and be untagged). I had a hard time find a harness that fit when she was small so I took her to an local pet shop and they found a Puppia that would fit her. I also use the Puppia with a seatbelt attachment when she rides in the car. I found Yorkies are very areodynamic and tend to end up all over the car with sudden stops |
Collar for looks and tags, but not in the house. Harness for walks and when on leash Carrier in the car. |
Harness for walking and for use with the car seat. I don't think I could get a collar on him as he still resents the harness. He is over a year old and still does not like it. I put it on for the walk and it comes off. |

Jackson wears a collar with tags all the time in the house. We live on 3 acres with no fenced in yard so it's just better to keep it on all the time with him going in and outside. Unfortunately, we haven't gotten the opportunity to go on many walks yet since it's been so damn cold so he's barely been on walks. |
car seat What is a good "car seat" for my two guys? One likes to look out the window and the other is just content to sleep! I commute on the weekends about 90 miles so I'm looking.:) |
:thumbup: Harness alllll the way!! Love Love Love it! He only wears it when we go on walks or outside, and he has a collar with his tags and info but he only has that on when he goes outside as well....:D |

I prefer the harness. It's much safer. |
