Oh here I sit at work crying like a baby. That is such a touching story. She is really a baby doll too! There is no other way to explain it, she a present from above.

A little update
 

well this little one is rotton. whew she is keeping me on my toes. I cant let her out to potty cause shes never had any shots. she goes in Friday to get checked and shots.Mickey goes in too hes do for all his again.

Last night like every night I looked out the window at the star, it was there shining so bright. Ive seen it there in the same spot rain or shine( you know stars dont come out in snow or rain storms, but it did). well last night I watched it slowly fade away. I felt so sad, like it was a connection to Minnie. and as I watched it slowly fade it made me feel like Minnie was saying bye now mom be happy and I cried.
This girl in so many ways reminds me of minnie, I think thats one reason we are keeping her. it just so many things how she more or less found us, how she ran to me as fast as her little legs could take her to get on my lap and give me kisses, like shes always known me.How then she ran and dug out Minnies toys and Mickeys frog the same toy frog Minnie would tease Mickey with.the way when getting ready for bed she sit up pretty for me to pick her up and when I did she got in Minnies spot and just layed there looking at me waiting for her tummy rub. dont get me wrong, I know shes not Minnie. but I cant help think Minnie sent her to us.

when we got out tax's back Hubby said Debbie if you want another female Yorkie Ill get you one, he even called a breeder and talked to her about a AKC CH little girl. I said NO I just dont want any right now. so we didnt and now here I sit with this little loving fluffy mix pup who loves me like shes always been here. its so weird. I didnt want any baby sense I lost my minnie. so how did this little girl wiggle her way in. Hubby says look shes laying just like minnie. Then I seen him look at Minnies picture on the stand and give her a wink.

Oh great!! Now I'm crying all over again!:rolleyes: I'm so, so, so happy for you!

How will I ever get this little ones hair around her eyes trimmed and on her nose, I tried 4 times last night with the trimmers and with scissors every time I even touch the hair around her eyes she throws back her head and fights to get away. she just freaks out and her eye lashes are like 1 1/2 inches... no lie, and their laying over mixed with the hair on her nose. how will I ever get that seperated. I even tried to wait until she fell asleep but as soon as I touched that part of her hair just with my fingers up she went running.Hubby held her and we still could not do it, she has her dew claws still too. Minnie use to lay so still even though she didnt like it she let me do any thing I wanted, Mickey he lets me groom him but fights when I cut his nails and he too has his dew claws. she needs it cut so bad, I cant even see her little eyes.

This is just so sweet, I am so glad you found eachother, your story brought tears to my eyes.... She is soo cute too!! I love the eyelashes on Shih Tzus I cant wait till she has a hair cut and shampoo so we all can see her cute little faces and those long long eyelashes.

Yep, she's a keeper and I think she was meant for you. Kind of reminds me of when we adopted our Yorkie from the no kill rescue. Everything happens for a reason.

Wow! reading this at work today, it was hard to hide the tears. And now, reading the update, just got the tears flowing all over again. But tears of happiness for you. This little bundle was just waiting for you, and needed that star to find you. You will enjoy her so much! If the Shih Tsu is anything like the Lhasa apso which I have, you will have the sweetest and most loving little bundle that there is. You have a beautiful little girl there.

I guess this is Candy's way of telling you..."Hey Mommy, I gotta be ME too!"

I just knew that you would find her the perfect home;) She is a beautiful little girl, looks just like a living teddy bear. I really believe that Minnie helped Candy find you. This story is so special and moving to me, she picked you even though you weren't quite ready. I love how she ran righ in to you and coverd you with all those kisses like she was saying, "mom I found you!!! I am here!!!" and it sounds like she is already having little Minnie moments. I still cry for my boy and I miss him so so much, but I have to say that having a puppy arround makes it a little easier to smile. Congradulations on your special little Candy, I can't wait to see more pictures and watch her grow.

I woke up to a mess
 

I have been fighting a cold and stomach bug for 3-4 days but last night my head started pounding and I started throwing up then I started coughing and now my lungs feel raw. I wanted to sleep in was up most of the night. But I woke up to a big mess. Little Miss Candy kisses stood there with poop in her mouth, yes in her mouth, she wasnt eating it but was pulling it off her bottom and spiting it out. I looked she had it all smashed in her butt hair. I took baby wipes and pulled off what I could then stuck her in the tub. She does not like the bath at all. after that I started trying to hold her down enough to cut the hair away from her eyes and off her bottom. I still have more to do but we both needed a break. so heres a few pictures of what I have done so far shes still a little damp. she is so tiny under all that hair.
heres a picture of her with Mickey dont mind him, hes a mess and getting ready to get his bath and trim too. my house is a mess and dog toys lay from one end to the other. yes this little girl is keeping me on my toes.

she looks SO great with her hair trimmed and her coat is beautiful! So sorry you aren't feeling well!
