OMG I've somehow missed the updates on this thread the last couple of days. Now I'm sitting at my desk bawling like a baby. Anyone have more tissues? She is so beautiful! I'm so happy she's found a wonderful new mommy and daddy and a fur brother, too. God does work his miracles in mysterious ways. This story was just meant to be!!! Bless you all!:)

Debbie...Candy Kisses has the look of love in her eyes. Isn't it amazing how she seemed to "know" you from the start? Showering you with kisses, which is just exactly what you needed...I bet there was a huge smile on your face. Don't worry, Minnie is smiling too...who do you think told her to go running over to you so fast and plaster you with kisses? Someone sent her from above...someone named Minnie. And that star that you've been clinging to each night...I bet if you look real close there is a second star...maybe not quite as bright as the first...but it's there...and it's just starting to glow. I can hear happiness in your posts again. Debbie, you so deserve to be happy...let Candy Kisses help show you the way to be happy once again. Mickey is showing his approval by the wag of his tail. Oh wow she is just absolutely gorgeous!! I am so happy for you that this little baby found you and you are going to give her a good home. She looks so happy in these pictures to be home with you guys. I know she's not minnie but it does seem reading all your posts that she WAS sent to you FROM minnie. I must say she is a VERY nice mix of both breeds, I just love the look of shihtzus and she has beautiful coloring.

Definitely one of my favorite all-time threads :) Candy Kisses is a little heaven-sent gift.

Candy had her vet appt today even thou I was so sick I took her. she needs those shots, I havent been able to let her out because she hasnt had any. the vet said shes healthy. shes 7 lbs. shes skinny under all that hair, but he said shes healthy. she has to go back 4 more times to catch up on all her shots. I dont remember Mickey & Minnie or any of my other pups going in over 3 times. but she got her heart worm meds and worm meds, her vitamins and her nails clipped. She rides great in the car and is going to the door to let us know she has to potty she scratches it and whines,but we havent been able to let her out yet. shes so smart. she already knows sit and lay. Shes such a sweet heart and Im so glad shes such a good girl cause Ive been so sick.

AS for the star.

That star has been there almost ever night ( Ive never seen a star in a snow or rain storm ) but no matter what its there, the day it rained it was there the same day I saw a double rainbow. I got pictures of it too. it was.it seemed like every night Id go to the window and it would be in the same spot, every night thart Hubby was home and I was not alone, it would not be there all but One night I wished it was there so Hubby could see and there it was.so I got to show him. I saw that star every night and on Feb 25 the day we got Candy Kisses I looked out and could hardly see it, I said are you there?and it got so big and bright. I said I Love you baby and I miss you, but dont you worry about mommy,It stayed for a few minutes then it slowly faded away. I stood there crying.
the next night I looked out for the star, it wasnt there I was so sad. but stood there and prayed and also told Minnie how much I loved her and no other would ever take her place for she was so special to me. but I thanked her for Candy and I told her some day Ill be with you again. on the 27th & 28Hubby was at work and I looked out the window once again and it was not there. I guess my baby is now resting in peace. Shes made sure Im ok and I now know shes in heaven.

Ohhhhh I love a happy ending! Yay!!!!!! I like everyone else have been bawling like crazy. Blessings to all!!

some might think Im a little off or a little crazy But Im not and if they think that I really dont care. LOL I know what Ive seen and what Ive felt and Ive saved enough to make a book or a scrap book of it all some day. from the pictures of the stars to the double rainbow to the small peice of paper that landed by my feet that had my answer on it. From the dream of Minnie being so real, to Candy Kisses... I know God sent me these blessings and I know Minnie had a big part in it too.

aww Shadow.. I didn't know your girls name was Minnie. The one I had that you had asked about's name was minnie too and my boy's name was mickey... I finally sold Minnie though.. Mickey as well.. I just have one girl left now that we were going to keep but have decided not too. Good luck with finding minnie a new home!

Ohhhhhh you are not crazy! Minnie was looking out for you all the time. From the first dream you had until you saw the star fade. She has been there showing you that she loved you and would ALWAYS look out for you. She is the one who made sure that baby Candy Kisses was brought to your house, and that she ran to you and gave you all the kisses, and then to your DH. Minnie may not need to be in the stars anymore because she has sent you a little baby to help you. And now she has crossed over, because she has more work to do. I believe that there is a little boy or girl angel in heaven, who was ready to take care of your little Minnie. To take the place of a beloved dog that they had on this earth, to give them the love that Minnie has to offer. You are so blessed to have seen all of the signs from Minnie, and she knows that she will always be in your heart.

She is just adorable. I am so happy Minnie sent her to you. Now that her job is done she has faded from her earthly duties to run free at the Rainbow Bridge knowing while your heart is broken, small pieces will start to heal with Candy Kisses.

o.k...... now you have me bawling here again. I LOVE your story about the star and everything that goes with it. I do believe in all of what you have told us. You hold on to that and let noone take that away from you.

I have to admit all the signs add up...Minnie is your protector...she always was and always will be there for you. I believe in fate, that everything happens for a reason...and what goes around, comes around. Minnie is at peace, she knows she will never be replaced...but yet, she also knows the love and care you have to offer to another...Candy is an addition to, not a replacement of Minnie and Mickey.
P.S. I truly do believe you will see that star again...on occasion...that's Minnies way of checking up on you, to make sure you're still happy and smiling.

Well Im wondering what was Minnie thinking, this girl is keeping me busy. too busy LOL. I know I needed to get on in life but now im running lol.


I been sick and Hubbys been tending to letting the dogs out to potty and all, well today im better and it was nice out so i go to let Candy and Mickey out to potty and Candy didnt even take the steps she jumped off the side of the porch deck and ran laps around the house 3 times before I got her to stop. man shes fast. we live on 5 acres and I think shes pretty much ran it all already. so now on she gets carried out and or on a leash and put in the fenced in area. shes so lucky she didnt break a leg jumping off the porch like that. I know Hubby said she was fast but geez.

She sounds like a little pistol!!! Can you post some pics of Miss Candy Kisses?
