Teeth-chattering type biting If laying down and kinda playing with my Yorkie mix, my German Sh. mix will nudge Isla and do a teeth-chattering type bite to her. It doesn't hurt her, in fact, it looks like she's 'scratching her.' Do you know what I mean? Like what they do to themselves if they have an itch? But it'll be to Isla instead. What does THAT mean? |
Molly does that to me when we are playing. I think its when they stop just short of biting.I also think its what they do when they clean themselves..kind of chewing at their fur. |
I've seen this with submissive dogs ..... when greeting or interacting with dominant dogs They will do this type mouthing almost as a greeting other than that I would think it's just play |
