Where can I get good quality dog bows? Hi everyone, I need some good feedback from anyone about a good place to get quality dog bows. We have 3 yorkies and want to start putting some bows in their hair. Please help with suggestions. Thank you |
Wish I could help but I'm trying to find some myself that will stay in my babys fine hair. |
I got my bows from Darlin Beauxs. She is a YT member and I loved mine. They actually stayed in my puppies hair too. She has a lot of different ones. She sometimes has sales for YT members too |
I've just recently bought some beautiful ones. If you two will send me a pm, I'll be glad to share. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to just post it or not. I haven't quite learned the protocol here yet...LOL If it's okay to post it here, maybe someone will tell me! I was very, very happy with the quality of bows I got. Plus, you can see them online. The main thing I worried about concerned hot glue guns since I know from experience that over time things glued on can become loose. I was pleasantly surprised when I got my order to see that everything had been hand sewn in place. I think I'll take a chance and go ahead and post the link. If I'm not supposed to, then someone can kill my post. The site is Dog Bows Val's Diva Dos Her work is excellent! The bows are teeny tiny plus I got some of those curly ones (I think she calls them korky or something), too. I don't think you'll be disappointed at all. The curly ones and the little bows are not heavy at all. |
Ladymom is a YT member also and a featured seller. M'Lady's Dog Bows |

That is so funny!! Bella gets ALL her bows from Vals. She is super nice and makes top quality bows that are hard to break!! I have bought bows from other vendors, and they tend to break or fall out of her hair. I have tried to find books and other things to make my OWN bows but i have had not success. Anyone have any ideas ? Books or anything on how to make your own? that would be great.. thanx |
dog bows Hi, I found a web site for bows that I love. The quality and choices are great. the site is thedivadogbowtique.com ...enjoy! |
On ebay I buy bows from Val... her bows are excellent quality.. and are reasonable... She is the person I got my support our troop bows from.. I love to wear them on the furkids when they are wearing red..I told her what I wanted and she made them... She also has variety packs on ebay all the time to bid on.. and you can get good deals... if you watch... I do not know about others but I cannot afford bows at 5 dollars a pop.. when you have multiple yorkies..I love to support sellers on the forum but I like many others need in this day and age to watch prices at the same time.. Go to ebay seach for dog bows.. then go through some and you will find val.. love her bows.. anne |
I was just looking at ladymom's site.. it is great and she has some different bows then val.. so nice to have a few places that one likes.. But I did not see any prices on Ladymoms bows.. so sent her a message.. Hope you do well on your search... anne |

bows 1 Attachment(s) I just received 5 bows yesterday that I had ordered from My Lady, they are beautiful and very very reasonably priced. The bows are very well made and exactly like the pictures on her website. I have attached a picture of Carlie with one of her new bows. M'Lady's Dog Bows |

I have ordered from Darlin Beaux in the past, my next order will be from Ladymom's. I like to support the YT'ers. |
I am so glad you guys have been chatting here - So now I have discovered Val's... OMG they are soo cute and great prices! I usually get my bows (and leads) from The Finishing Touch Dog Bows and Show Dog Supplies - Show Dog Bows and Leads But I think I'll be getting my bows from Val's from now on! : ) |

And, I got a free bow and lots of extra rubber bands and hair ties! AWESOME! The funnies thing is, I got a little bow for free, and it happens to be white, yellow, and back, with a little bee in the center - it loks like my town's school mascot! How perfect is that?!?!? I was thoroughly impressed!!:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: |
4 Attachment(s) I could never find bows that stayed in Teiya's hair. Everything I've bought came out and got lost somewhere. I don't bands, so I started making my own on these silicone covered clips. They grip the hair but not so hard that it breaks off. They're easy to get in and out too, which means I don't have to fight with her to sit still and she can wear a different one every day. I think I've made her about 40 of them so far. I'm picky though too. I like the boutique style bows, so that's what I make for her. Here's a few of mine. |
OH my goodness don't get me started on bows! i'm on a bow craze right now for my babies lol. don't forget about dawn! her YT username is Iluvmygirl here's her site Doggy Doo's Furbaby Bows Product List let her know you're a YT member and you get the bows for a discounted price :) we LOVELOVELOVE her bows! just ordered a bunch and put in another order! majority of her bows are on barrettes (which we love)!:p |

I'm new to bow making but my friends use them and have withstanded the jaws of a boston terrier (yes he aided my little sister's yorkie in pulling it out of her hair LOL needless to say she had a "cowlick LOL) I use the plasticy rubber bands not the ones you usually see on bows. I find it pulls out less hair. I don't use glue as I found that they break easier. PM me for more info and pictures. |
