2 Questions I got two questions for ya guys.. 1.) How come no one ever really goes in the chatroom? I keep logging in and out and its dead in there!!! 2.)Im having a hard time finding out what Bella's favorite toys are. I was wondering what YOUR yorkie's favorite toy is?? Im trying to figure out what I should be buying her. And ALSO what toys last a long time? Bella rips her toys apart within the first day that i buy them!! What kind of toy can i buy her that she can always enjoy AND that will last? Help! |

1. People use to go there pretty often But now they post More that chat. 2. Brownie's favorite are squeaky & ball's. No toy's will last a long time Usually when they make a hole i will sew it a couple time's Then throw it out. |
Bella LOVES Balls but i cant find one thats made of something that will at LEAST last a couple weeks.. any ideas? |
my tink loves this rubber ball with a bell inside - i tied a long thick shoelace to it (it had a hole either side), made thick knots in it and she loves ragging it about! It's her fave toy! xXx |
I don't Know Brownie usually rips them & i sew them. |
Anything that squeeks. Pablo does not know how to squeek his toys yet...Funny. He is such a shy little guy. |
I didn't know that there's a chatroom! |
I'd like to chat too. But same as you when I've popped inthere no one was around. who knows., maybe it will become popular again ;) |
well my boy loves balls to and they don't last long either, oh well I just keep buying more and he keeps ripping them open. :p I do recommend the everlasting treat ball. It has a really hard treat inside of rubber, my boy loves the treat ball and will play with it for some time.:D |
AKC makes some nice toys. When I try and use chat, it has Java Chat options as well as mIRC ?? What do I use? |
I've had good luck with those toys at Petsmart that are Petstages chew toys. they are brightly colored. they are kind of more money than i want to pay but Tyke has not tore them up at all. I also bought 2 baby toys at walmart for 2.00 a piece and he hasn't tore them apart either. i think he's only ripped one toy since Sept. you all must play rough with these fellows...lol |
Yes she loves the petstage toys!!! But my ultimate goal is to find the perfect rubber ball that will last! ! We will see...:):):) |
Mine love cuz balls and squeaky toys |
I go into chat sometimes! My boys LOVE those tiny tennis balls and rope bones. Those are their ultimate favorites, but they also love anything that can squeek. They like to rip their toys too, so I usually go to the dollar store or wal mart has a few bins of toys that are $0.97 and $1.97. I also order a lot of toys off of petedge.com. That way if they rip them up, I'm not too concerned because I didn't spend a bunch of money and can easily go buy them more. |

Oh and I didnt know about the chat lol... |
You may also try mIRC (a free PC program) to access YorkieTalk chat if you would like. Here is the thread on how to use mIRC. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...hat-guide.html |
My baby destroys her toys too & forget tennis balls, she will sit & gnaw all the fuzz off the tennis ball & then she would have a hard time going potty! So now no tennis balls but I did google indestructable dog toys & found this big pink round animal thingy with chew guard technology. It is still in one piece LOL but I just bought a little butterfly from Petsmart with the Chew guard & don't ya know she chewed through the wing in less than 24 hrs!!! She also really likes the rope knots. And she loves little stuffed pocketbooks & carries them around by the handles (really makes cute pictures) but eats them really fast. I just keep buying her new ones LOL. But she actually knows what they are........if we say go get your purse Precious she will go get it & bring it to us with the handle in her mouth! It' really just too cute:) MOMMY OF PRECIOUS:aimeeyork |
Superman freaks me out! |
Frimousse and Mollie's favorite toys is Hide A Squirrel . I recently had to buy more squirrels . |
tennis balls!!!!! Lizzy loves them. I buy her the small ones but she plays with the big ones just as well. We have a 2 yr. old schnauzer as well and she takes the big ones away from him. We have not had any problem with her eating the fuzz. |
I have been on chat a few times....... but like you, seldom do I find anyone there either. Tennis balls...... tiny ones..... but not too tiny! (it will depend on your dogs size... you don't want them to be able to swallow them). Shelby also likes hide a squirrel. Seymour prefers something with a knot in it that he can chew. Most of their toys are in a basket, but we have a few that we Keep put up and use for special occasions.... like Seymour's flossie bone. (they have to be "observed" when playing with these) |
you should try the Kong toys thy will last a long time :animal-pa |
Johnny ripped apart a few of his toys when he was younger but now just seems to like making them squeak. If the squeaker goes bad, I replace it with ones I've bought at PetSmart. I bought him a ball for Christmas that doesn't squeak. I don't even think he's picked it up! Maybe she'll grow out of it. |
