I think I found her!! I am going to see what I hope to be my new baby girl. She is 10 weeks old, parents are in the home, comes with first two sets of shots, 1 year health gaurentee, no papers she said they are pets not show dogs, although she said she has the papers for her two dogs if I want to see them. I can't have her for another 2 weeks as she wont release the puppies until they are 12 weeks old.I dont think Ive been so excited in a long time. I was honeslty hoping to rescue a dog in need but since I REALLY tried and failed to find one in my area I think its okay to get a puppy. Is there anything I should look for in the house and any specific questions anyone recommends? She told me she has been doing this for years so Im so excited to see her and my little girl cant wait to see her!! What to look for? What is the most imporant questions to ask? Is 950.00 a reasonable price with out papers? |

$950 is a lot for an un-papered puppy. |

Go with your gut, if you feel suspicious in any way DO NOT ignore it. There are a lot of scammers out there. $950 is a bit extreme, only because she will not be able to prove that the parents she is showing you are even the real parents. But breeders are usually negotiable so you can try to talk her down. Good luck and I wish you the best! =] |
I agree...that's high for no papers...:aimeeyork:aimeeyork |
I paid $750.00 for my little Prada with limited AKC papers.. I live in NJ.. so that price seems a bit high for a non paper baby..best of luck with your search.. hugs, cArmen in nj |
Oh, I hope this is the one for you. Be sure to read this thread http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...ead-first.html - lots of good info on what to ask & look for befo e you actually buy or put money down |
I bought her!! I did print out the question sheet and sat down at her house and asked each one. The mama was 7 pds dad 5.5 pds, both on the premisis and both cute, they probally could have used a bath though. she did also breed s**tzu dogs. Her house was clean , she came from a litter of 4 via a c-section. In 20 years she has never had a liver shunt problem and no genitic disorders so she says. We live in the Boston area and she sold puppies to Mark Walburg and Steven Tyler of Aerosmith. ( Im not star crazy so I dont really care about that) But she is soo cute and cuddly, mom and dad were very friendly , they werent squirmish at all. mama doggy got a little fustrated when we picked up the puppy she was weaving in and out of my legs. She offers a year health warrenty available 24 hours a day if you have a problem. We came up with Lola, or Lexi I like Lola tho... :) |
I paid 950 Canadian for Missy without papers. Do you have any pictures of this puppy? I wanna have a peek at her :) |

Lola is a cute name :) I can't wait to see pictures ! The price may be a little high because momma had to have a c-section . It looks like she has a small breeding operation going on. Prides herself selling puppies to famous people, so she must have some kind of reputation. I bet those pups were sold at a much higher price to the stars too. If she was telling the truth, LOL . :aimeeyork |
Here is my lil cutie pup Lola!!!! http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/n.../Photo0139.jpg http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/n.../Photo0140.jpg http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/n.../Photo0138.jpg sorry about the links i dont know how to upload the pictures so i had my daughter do it from her face book |
This could mean absolutely nothing at all but I've been to Steven Tylers house a couple times and I've never seen a yorkie there. Not to say he didn't buy one for someone else or just had it someplace else. But, I just thought I'd throw that in. I hope you do get Lola and she's the love of your life. And I love that name! |
She can still give you AKC papers with a limited registration. It sounds fishy to me. |
That is great....where did you get her from? Just curious....as you know I live in the same town as you and do rescue..... Cannot wait to see a picture of her.... |
