Thanks for posting that! |
Yeah thanks. That's great. I was just wondering about that this morning. |
went to petco last night to pick up my babys food and snacks and they were taking donations for the animals that was affected by hurrican katrina ,so i donated ,thought i would let everyone know thats if you do shopping at petco . |
Thank you for posting that - We're taking some things we don't use to our local store today - My sons ex girlfriend works at Petco and I'm taking the items to her to donate - I think this is a great way to help put the word out for those poor people and needy pets in LA. what a terrible storm and I feel so sorry for all the people flooded out of their homes and especially those who lost their lives - who knows how many animals have died or will die from illness and the aftermath - It makes us really appreciate what WE have - and how fast we could lose it |
petco is only taking money donations. |
Just bumping to keep everyone aware. |
If you want to donate online, here are some websites that are taking donations to help the hurricane affected animals: http://www.noahswish.org/ http://www.uan.org/news/082805.html http://www.americanhumane.org/site/PageServer http://www.petfinder.com/ http://www.nsalamerica.org/ar/index.html https://secure.hsus.org/01/disaster_relief_fund_2005? Some of those sites are direct links to the donation page, some are just the homepages of the organizations. |
BUMP... Just want to make sure everyone reads this. |
