Yorkie Rescues Hello, I am trying to find a tiny little female yorkie for my 77 year old mother. She has always had tiny little dogs (because she is a tiny little person). She spoils her dogs and they just mean everything to her. She lost her little companion about 6 months ago and is pining for another. She has always wanted a little yorkie; however, I don't have a lot of money. I know a little yorkie would help her, and I think finding a little yorkie to rescue would also be a good thing. I live in the Dallas area so if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. Thanks for your help. |
Here are some you can begin with but please understand most reputable rescues will want to have your mom fully involved in the rescue process. These little creatures are not to be given as gifts but to be part of someone's life. I hope you understand and good luck. Welcome to YT! Have you looked on Pet adoption: Want a dog or cat? Adopt a pet on Petfinder -- I have seen several yorkies in Texas. Also, you can check here for a breeder that might let one go for less. I understand little dog for a little person - I'm very petite and used to raise Bichons - now I've gone smaller with yorkies! Just last night I was walking my 2, and this guy asked me if my little 3 1/2 pounder & 4 1/2 pounder were pulling me ;) |
Here is a breeder who is retiring one of her girls & she is only asking $250 for this beautiful girl http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...-new-home.html |
