I am a firm beliver that animals ha e a sixth sense. They pick up on things that humans cannot. something is going on and your boy knows it! He is trying to tell you so! They are sensitive creatures and KNOW more then we could possibly understand! i don't have the answer for you, but your Yorkie certainly does ! :aimeeyork |
This thread gives me the creeps!!!:eek::eek: |
It has been a long time since a ghost thread. I believe that animals can see some things that we don't. During the first month I had Mahina, I was playing with her and then all of a sudden she just stopped. She looked into the door to the hallway and kept whining. She'd run back and forth to me and would look at me like I should know somethings there. She never barked but she did start shaking, I just held her close but she kept wanting to see. Then all of a sudden she just stopped. Let's just say that night CREEPED me out. Just comfort them when they do that and let em know it's okay. I think they're just trying to warn us. |
I certainly believe that spirits are around. I am confident that dogs can sense these things too. But don't worry if that's what you are dealing with, I think the best way to deal with this is to NOT get too creeped out, that may be the one thing you will have control over in a situation like this. (If it is a ghost) Just back up your dog and let hin know you have 'got his back' that way he won't feel discouraged. :animal36 |
It could be many things. The house settling and creaking may have him confused A mouse. A spider . A switch or some type of electrical wires that are under the floor near there. Sometimes wires will have a harmonic hum or vibration caused by the 60 cycle alternating current. It could even be a minor earthquake. Animals can pick up even the most minor earth quakes. You may want to check to see if you are near any active fault zones. But then again it could be ghosts. Can't rule it out.:) |
BOO. Sorry, I just had to do that..... |
We have a (usually) unseen spirit in residence in our home. Over the years, we've caught glimpses of her on the stairs, or heard her upstairs, and we've had some odd things happen, but she's never been a malevolent presence. We did some research, as our house is well over 100 years old, and we believe we know who she is (it's a long story, but a sad one). Mary-Anne (her name, if we're right about who it is) doesn't seem to creep our pup Lucy out - although Lucy has been known to perk her ears up and whiffle just at the point we see the shadow pass the glass in the sitting room door - she obviously doesn't mind sharing her home with a previous owner! |
