I hate leaving my little guy at home. I hear him whimpering as I leave, and even though I know he's safe and has lots of room to play in, and a comfy place to sleep, it still breaks my heart cause he loves to be around me and my fiance'. Does anyone know of some products that have worked for seperation anxiety? |
I only work part time and about half of that time I work from home. But the woman I work for asked me to bring Puddin to work today so she could see her, then told me I could bring her whenever I want, that she can run around on the floor, and if she has an accident, it's OK, that's what puppies do. How cool is that? Hubby bought me one of those doggie purses yesterday for her, and it fits on the passenger seat perfectly, with the seatbelt through the handles to keep it secure. I almost didn't mind going to work this morning! |
I agree!! But luckily, its 5:00!!! YAY! :) Time to go home and see my baby! |
Oh my goodness! I took a voluntary layoff with no way to make my car payment for the chance to stay at home and play with my babies. But all I have done so far is find this website, and try to learn how to do things on it. The dogs have learned that if they want mommy, they need to come to the computer! (but it is still nice looking at them all day when I am not typing.) who needs a car anyway if you dont wanna leave the babies?:D |
Oh my gosh, yes! I tell my husband all the time I want to stay home and raise Wookie!! I feel so quilty everyday leaving him. Especially now since me and my husband are going to be separating, he is going to be home alone a little more and it breaks my heart!! (I am more worried about him than myself!) I have tried taking him to work with me, but he acts up! I am a horticulturist at a country club and when I have to be out on the golf cart driving around the property, he goes crazy barking! And if I leave him in my office he barks and cries. Our club manager is not a dog person, so its not a good idea for me to keep trying that! Isn't it a shame that there aren't more places we can take our babies into? And I tell you, my baby is cleaner than a lot of people I see in some places! LOL I love it when I have to take a trip to Home Depot cause he can go there with me! I would love it if I could get something going with my art and dog grooming (I am still learning that, it has been slow going because of working full time) so I can stay at home with my boy! If anyone figures it out, count me in!!!! |
I wish I can take her (fefe) to work with me, she is getting so grown up I miss her puppiness. She is 9mths and growing into a lovely young woman I just want to show her off:aimeeyork I love my baby... |

I'd love to! |
It makes me so sad The worst part of going to work is leaving Jezebel. I hate it and think about her constantly all day! I feel so guilty leaving her alone. :( |
Every Tuesday/Thursday when I leave for class I feel so terrible! She sits up on the bed, cocks her head and just watches me close the door, I hate it! I've only had her a little while but I haven't even been going to the gym everyday like I usually do because I just can't leave her! |

Twice since Saturday I have gone out to eat and taken Puddin' with me. The restaurants seated us inside and thought nothing of the puppy...of course, she was in her basket, sound asleep. I figure I'll take her with me until somebody stops me...and then I won't spend my money in a place that won't let my Puddin' in! |

I agree!!! I live in FL and there are plenty of pet friendly outdoor seating restaurants. That is great on the weekends. The problem is my work week :( Monday-Friday, 8-5. UGH!! I sneak Maddy into where ever I can. Two places that wouldn't let her in were Ikea and Sam's Club. Fine by me, I'll go to Target!! :p |
Those who defenatly have to work we should be able to have puppy day care at work, so all little furbabies can play together. I hate leaving him, I even make excuses not to go out at weekends with my friends for a drink, my worst nightmare is coming - motorbike rally season - and I promised my husband that getting Buddy would not stop us going on rallies and now I am dreading it. My Dad tho loves having him when we do go away, he is treated like a king. I also wish more shops would let us take out furbabies in, fed up of not being able to enter a shop for the 'no dogs' sign staring me in my face! oh well their loss, I am not spending my money there. Putting the lottery on this weekend, cross fingers! |
In the morning, I usually say to them,"Mommy has to go make money for dog food and toys" and they run to the living room window to watch me go. As the day stresses get to me at work I usually find myself wanting to go home to kisses and snuggles. Some day I will................. |
if i could i would totally stay at home with my babies! part of the reason why i wanted to get madison is so riley and her could play all day (which they do) when my boyfriend & i are at work :p |
