Can't Reach Breeder for Papers
 
I bought my puppy, Bailey, in June of 2008 from Stacy Luyben located in Pennsylvania. I've sent her mail via the US Postal Service, several e-mails and left a phone message (not sure if it is still her number) ... all with no response. Does anyone have information on Stacy or do you know how I can register my dog without the original paperwork?

She used to be a member on here. Someone else on here didnt get their papers from her

You won't be able to register your puppy until you receive the paperwork. Unfortunately, you aren't the only person which has experienced this.

I am so sorry you are not hearing from Stacy. She was an active member here for a long time with extensive knowledge of the yorkie breed. I don't know what happened but she is not the same person we used to know. I stood up for her for so long but I have since sent a pm to the member who had the problem to tell her I was sorry......I did not know the entire story and still don't but what I do know is not good. Please do not pm me, I just thought this would be a good way to tell you all I was too hard on Michiko.(sp) not sure if that is correct spelling. She is in Japan now and her Mother is ill. The internet is a wonderful way to communicate in some ways but in MANY ways it is not.

I just wanted to let all interested know that I did hear from Stacy. She has been busy with her new son and travelling. My papers are on the way and all is well !

Crystalsmom: No worries :) That is the past.. and I actually don't even remember you being so hard on me ;) It was just tough situation for me with Stacy and hard but honest conversations on YT.

rose1mary: I also received the pedigree from Stacy about two years ago. The pedigree seemed to be created by Stacy not by the AKC. Because of lack of the information on the pedigree (no registration numbers of the parents etc), I couldn't register Haruka. So I hope whatever the papers that you receive from Stacy will help you to register your pup. Unfortunately I couldn't register my girl. And I asked her for more information and didn't get any responses. I kept all the documentations just in case (all the email communication etc...)

Anyway good luck to you! I hope you can get AKC registration. I am glad that you heard from Stacy.

While Stacy did reply to me, I am still waiting for the paperwork. I sent a second note but have not received a response. Now that I know your experience, I'm wondering if I will find myself in the same situation. I'll let you know when (if) I receive it.
