Everyone Meet Harley and question on xpen 2 Attachment(s) Here are pictures of our new little guy, I can't get any of Samson and Harley together because Samson is not having any of that. Now to my question. We had an xpen for Samson and we really no longer use it for him as he is pretty much housebroken. Of course Harley is anything but housebroken so we have the xpen back out. How did people deal with having to use it for one dog but not the other? I don't want to pen Sam up during the day with him but I also don't want to have Harley crying because he isn't with Sam. Right now Harley is only in the pen when he is sleeping but when we go to work on Monday he'll have to be in the pen. how did anyone deal with it or does anyone have any suggestions. |
Harley is SO cute! |
Congradulations on your new arrival! Harley is adorable ! I think the X-pen will be ideal for Harley while your gone to work. That is the safest place for him. Make sure he is comfortable , has his toys, food and water, and a blanket with your scent on it. He will probably sleep most of the time while your gone. :aimeeyork |
Harley is super cute. I'd keep Harley in the x-pen in a room that Samson can't get into when you are away from home. I would not put them in the x-pen, together, unsupervised. |
Harley is a cutie! Until you know more about how they are together I would keep them separate - that probable won't be for long |
I think he'll be fine, because they'll be able to see each other. Let us know how it works. |
thanks, I will keep them separated during the day. At this point Samson is just tolerating Harley. I actually kind of feel bad because I got Harley for many reasons but one was to be a playmate to Samson. Samson just seems to be put out by Harley, it breaks my heart. I know everyone is telling me to wait a few weeks and they will be the best of buds but right now I just don't see it. Hopefully they will be friends soon. |
