My little jumping bean!
 
Cookie is my 15 week old morkie...The other day she jumped out of her xpen! I could not believe it. I was on my way out to work ad realized that i left something in the room, to my surprise there she was sitting at the door ready to play!
Does anyone know if there are covers to xpens or any suggestions on what i could use so that if she does try to jump out, she wont her herself?:confused::2omg::thumbs up

And I bet she had that "Wow Mom! Look what I did!" look on her face when you came back in. :D I'm so grateful that Gracie Ruth doesn't realize how 'springy' her legs really are or I'd be having the same problem. :p I've seen different posts about YT'ers making tops for their ex-pens. Try doing a search and see what may come up. I have a friend that used her ex-pen in the back yard for her puppies and she just put a couple of window screens on top of it. But that was more to keep the hawks :eek: out then the puppies in. :rolleyes:

Hopefully some other YT'ers will post what they've done.

My cousin's yorkie, Bosley, used to climb the baby gate she put up when she left him at home, confining him to her short wood-floor hallway. She came home one day and he was out. So.......she added another baby gate on top of the first one, making it twice as tall, because she figured he was just jumping over it. A few days later, she came home and he was out. Not to be outdone, she put a THIRD baby gate above the first two, leaving only 6 inches from the ceiling. She thought she had him beat, but nah........it took him a few weeks, but eventually, he got out. She finally had to set up a camera to watch him and saw that he was CLIMBING the gates and getting out. Little stinker! :D They're sometimes too smart for their own good!

Cool, I have a Morkie named Cookie also, and I cannot keep her in her xpen. I have put baby gates and boxes on top and somehow she moves them everytime and gets out. Her is a picture of her hanging on the edge trying to climb out.
