| Wow, what a roller coaster post! I have just been reading and praying for you and your baby. I am glad that he is doing better, but definitely watch him. Not to scare you but I feel you may not be out of the woods yet. I am glad you have people to help, that has to be a horrible feeling to know you need to help your baby and can't afford to. This is a great place to come for advice. I have found that having a Yorkie is different than any other dog I have had. They seem to be more like a real baby and take special care, so please, come here any time you need support!
As far as the soft spot goes, I may be wrong, but it is my understanding that it is common with Yorkies for the fontanelle to stay open for a long time. Wookie:aimeeyork was over a year old before his closed completely and he doesn't have nuerological problems. I think it is one of those things that Yorkies can be predispotioned to have, like luxating patella or collapsed trachea.
