Did adopt 10 mth old
 
Hello all,

I had previously posted asking advise about adopting a 10mth old male that needed to be rehomed. Welllllll, I went yesterday to just LOOK and he was all over me, it was unbelievable, we just hit it off. Needless to say he came home with me. He is precious........ and a hand full. I have named him Sullie. Now if he'll just bond with my husband. This is the 1st dog we've had that just wanted me;)

He is trained to go outside and on the pad but we are working on it.

Just wanted to let you know, everyone was so nice about helping me and has been since I joined in early Jan.

I will post pics as soon as we get groomed this wk.
We also have to be neutered:eek: Connie

Congratulations, and welcome to Sullie!

10 months is a great age, still young and energetic, but not as high maintenance as a tiny puppy. I wish you much happiness with your new boy!

oh yea, i forgot to mention, milu is also 10 months old! :D they are really playful at this age and is really cute! and it's also a good age to teach them commands and tricks. they are really smart! :animal36

Congratulations!! Just to let you know, when I went to pick Nolee out, the breeder had 8 other puppies to choose. I was sitting on the floor and Nolee was the first one to come and jump & kiss on me. I would push him away and he just kept coming back. I wanted to take a little time to choose and went outside for about 30 min. Can back in, and guess who ran up to me and was kissing on me. Well, Nolee it had to be. I do not regret it. I think as I said, it was ment to be!! :animal36

Congrat's, can't wait to see pictures.
After he is neutered he will probably warm up to your husband. He probably feels that he is a threat, competition.

Congratulations!!! I love Sullie's name. It took me three dogs before one decided they liked me best....so enjoy it!

Congratulations..thats really good news. cant wait to see some photos. im sure he will bond with your husband really soon. maybe you could get your husband to give sullie his meals sometimes. :)

I remember your first post about this puppy! I am so happy you took him! My Suzi is 10 months old, and loves everybody. I am glad Sullie already has bonded with you! It is so much fun when a pup takes to you ! Congradulations :D

Oh, I forgot to add too, my Tiki is 10 months too, and is so lovable and pretty well trained. I would have no problem bringing her into my home at this age vs. as a younger puppy.

We'll be waiting for pictures:)

Congratulations. I love to hear stories of people who take in pets that are in need of love. That's why my hubby won't let me go to the animal shelter anymore. I want to bring them all home. LOL

He is trained for the pad & outside but I guess since changing homes he's had a little set back. We'll get it;)

i see. yea, that happens. sometimes it also happens after surgery.
you're so lucky though! to get a baby that's potty trained! :p

when i first got milu, it felt like she was peeing on the carpet 24/7!!! i wanted to return her! :eek: (just kidding, but the thought did cross my mind...:p )
