Do you have them on a Schedule? I don't have mine on a schedule really but now i am starting to. I usually just feed them first around 9, sometimes a little earlier or later, not exactly at 9 am. And i feed them twice a day, but i was wondering if the majority of ppl here have a schedule for their babies? How many times a day do you feed them and at what times? The reason i ask is because a friend of mine has her dog on a schedule, right after he eats she crates him up until he goes pee and poo. Mine go on the peepee pad 90% of the time but have accidents so i was thinking of doing what she does, basically start all over again to get that fixed. The girls are the best at going, but Teddy slips up, so do they sometimes. So please fill me in, im just wondering how i should do this:confused: |
I kinda have Nolee on a schedule. I feed him twice a day. Usually around 8:30a.m and 4:30 pm. He usually poops around 2:30pm, after his nap. Oh yeah, he take a nap depending, between 2:00 and 3:00 every afternoon. His last time to potty for the nite is 9:00pm. He will soon be 2 and he pretty much has been on this schedule for some time.:animal36 |
We're on a schedule, & rarely deviate. Our life is deja vu. |

The dog has a schedule, we have a schedule... The only ones that get to do whatever they want whenever they want is our cats! :O |
Morgan no longer has a schedule as she is housebroken and lets me know when she has to go out to potty. I feed her either in the morning or at night depending on the activity of the day. example: she doesn't need a full meal in the morning on week days because she sleeps all day. |
we were more on a schedule when we first brought him home but not su much now, our lives are just too hectic. we free feed because he is so small (4lbs and 8 months old). we take him out as often as needed. My mom and her dog are on a schedule and it is pretty set out during the week. we are getting a new one (Harley) next weekend and my DH and I were talking about having to go back on one untill he is housebroken |

Suzi is 10 months old and is peed pad trained. She also poos on the pads pretty much all the time... I am on disability and home all the time, so i don't have the puppy on a regular schedule. She actually goes by me and what I do... I get up, she gets up, I am predictable in my own way, and Suzi has picked up on this. i am a laid back person, and since am not working anymore it works out . :aimeeyork |
