i use an oatmeal shampoo for body, tearless shampoo for her face, and a conditioner as well. a lot of yorkies are ok to get a bath once a week, but milu gets dry skin, so i try to wait as long as i can between baths.

keep nutri-cal on hand, this is important. i didn't think i would need it, but i needed it many times when i first got milu. it's for when their blood sugar drops too low because a lot of yorkies are picky eaters and do not get enough food/calories.

i took milu to puppy class, and took her to puppy socials for socialization. you should look it up online and find out more info about it.

that's a really good idea. was hard for me though, i let milu come sleep on the bed the first time she whined and wanted to come sleep with me. BAD IDEA!

And about the crate training. I am planning to do pee pads & outside. Is there one that I should start first or should I start doing both right away? I was thinking about pee pads and when she get warm enough I wanted to start training her to go outside. It is going to confuse her?

I have a playpen for her. I'm usually gone from 8am - 5:30pm Monday - Friday. Should I have her run loose in her Playpen or should I have her sit in her crate all day until I get home. I have a schedule for her. . .and here it is. For the time in I'm at work I'll have my brother or sister help me with taking her out and potty and feeding her until I get back.

i would let her run around the pen, she will sleep for the most part, and when she is up, she can walk around and play with her toys in the pen. i don't like the idea of crate training, i never needed to use it. but there are people that think it's a great idea. i think you should read more about crate training and make up your own mind about what you decide to do. i think crate training is mean, that is why i didn't do, and i didn't need to do it. but a lot of people believe that it is not mean. so you might want to research and see what you think about it. :)

About FOOD. I also read somewhere that I should leave food out for her all day long. But if I leave food out all day for her wouldn't she poop and pee all over her play pen? Should I wait to see how her eating habit it first?

you would want to see her eating habit first. for milu, i HAVE to leave food out all the time. she barely eats anything. as for potty training, since you are going to pee pad train her. you would leave a pee pad inside her play pen. (that's what i did with milu)

Cage Water Bottle - the kinds used for ferrets and rabbits. Does anybody use it? I've seen on yorkie owner that had taught his yorkies how to use it and it seems so easy and clean. Does it work for anybody else? Is there any tricks to it?

i don't think this is a good idea. i have bunnies, and i do not use the water bottle for them either. with the water bottle, it's impossible to clean the feeding part. (the part with the rolling ball inside) the bacteria grows in there, and there is no way to clean it...so it is NOT healthy for the animals. much better to have a water dish that you can clean frequently.

Talking about food what brand would you recommed?
