Really? They aren't mixed? They look part Pekingese to me. Cute as can be though, that's for sure! You'll have no problems finding homes for these little sweeties. |

However, a woman brought a female Yorkie to me that she wanted to breed that was totally golden. We didn't do the breeding as my guy was a little young and too excitable. But also because, her Yorkie didn't look "kosher". |
awwwww they are adorable! I think they look like a mix. I have seen golden yorkies, but not as pups. The ones I have seen full grown are all golden, and the coloring is beautiful. They don't look like chocolates because their noses aren't brown. They sure are cute though. |

I feel AKC breeders who want to keep the yorkshire terrier standard, which are not golden, chocolate or parti-color probably don't like this. Each to his own, but I feel they are mixed. That is just my opinion, but they are adorable. I have a yorkie/pekinese mix and he is absolutely gorgeous. However, he is still mixed. I love the standard colors of the yorkie the best. That is just my preference. I am not a breeder. I have had small and larger yorkies and loved them all the same. Jan: |

they are really cute but honestly they don't look like pure bred yorkies to me. i have never seen that color pattern before. the goldens i've seen are all golden/red. the chocolates are chocolate noses are eye lids. these pups look like shih tzu yorkies to me. are they yours or are you thinking of getting one? i have a cotton coat yorkie. she's a little poof ball and her hair mats if i let it get too long. |

I do thank everyone for posting, however there is not a question of them being mixed. They are NOT a mix. They have two AKC parents. I do not intend to sell them AKC as I don't personally think they should be used for breeding or are a good example of the breed but they are indeed purebred. I asked if anyone had seen the color or had a yorkie with a cotton coat. How and why so many people decided to say they think they are a mixed breed is beyond me. |
