I tend bar in our members club. We had a pool league come in Sunday night. One of the pool players started talking about his dogs....128lb pit bull.....Anyway..he told me that he's a breeder and he has a friend that has one and just got a yorkie....He bought this pup from a breeder in NY...Well...he wants to get rid of her! I don't know if it's because of the Pit or because they are more work...Anyway....I told him that if he wants to "get rid" of her (give away) that I would take her!! She is between 3 and 5 months old! Then I thought :eek:OMG!! Did I really just say that!! LOL...I have to girls right now!! How on earth am I going to hold 3!! LOL...I told my husband, who I thought was going to kill me (LOL! not really) and he just looked at me and said...OH! I told him I would take her and find a forever home for her...(YA RIGHT!) I don't think this will happen though...As far as I know he wants $$$ for her. I'm just worried that he will sell to ANYBODY! These little ones are adorable and super cute as puppies...I feel people buy them because of that and then once they get them home realize the work involved with them and then toss them aside...So,.....who knows!! I could have 3 little girls!! LOL!

I would have said the same thing. I hope you get that puppy!! :D

I excited too!!! I even have a name picked out for her already!! LOL!! But, I really don't think he will "give" her to me. I really can't afford to pay for another puppy right now. I lost my other job back in November and tending bar can have good tip days and bad tip days.....where it's a member's only club we don't get the tips we would get if it was opened to the public...however...it does keep the riff raff out! I will CERTAINLY keep you all posted!

Oh...definitely take her!

I know people get pups and lose interest in them when they become dogs, but who could do that with a Yorkie? I think the adult dogs are just adorable...I've never been around a Yorkie pup but have known several adult dogs and they are just as cute and endearing as puppies, just in a different way!

I hope you get to keep her.
