New today saying hello Hi to all,
I happened on this site just today, can't even remember how actually..hmmm..
Well I am a big animal lover . I have mostly been a cat lady until last Jan 22. when I adopted Murphy. Can't believe almost a year has passed already. He was 4 1/2 when I got him. He was given up by his previous owners because they wanted to travel more. He apparently spent much time in kennels due to their travels. I wonder what his puppy years were like. Anyhow they were going to destroy him and the vet convinced them to surrender him to a small dog rescue group. My 'bird seed store' lady, Donna mentioned it one day about this little Yorkie needing a home. I couldn't get it out of my mind, he was calling to me. Well let me tell you, I have never been more in love in my life. I can truly understand now what is meant by being in the Joy of the moment, he keeps me there, he makes me smile and has just changed my life for the better. And my husband too, he initially said no to another pet (we have 4 rescued cats ) but now is just so happy and crazy about this lovely creature of bliss. And my cats well let me tell you they too are all in love with him, it took a few months but now they just think he's one of them.
I have to go now and get some bird seed, I take Murphy in to see Donna all the time, she loves him too. BTW she has 4 rescued Yorkies. I will forever be grateful to her for 'just mentioning about this little dog that needs a home.' God Bless the earth angels here for all the good they do.
I will look forward to talking with you all more in the future. And when I learn how to upload some pics here I will put some up of Murphy.
I am Cindy, I live in a suburb east of Cleveland on frigid cold Lake Erie..brrrr.
