maparker9 | 01-18-2009 03:07 PM | Another Newbie!! Just a quick Howdy to everyone!! I stumbled upon this site while looking for other things!!
We currently have to yorkies: Lola came to us in late November of 2008, we are her third family and wouldn't trade her for all the money in the world!! She is a definite "mama's" girl, very protective, WONDERFUL personality, loves to get dressed up and has a slight attitude, but what female doesn't!! We aren't too sure of her age, but would guess her to be around 2-3 years old. She was spayed when we got her and up to date on her shots!! She's the perfect "daughter" to have for many reasons and yes we do have 3 of the two legged species!!:) We gladly gave a small rehoming fee for our little princess and would give one again if the opportunity arises!!:D
Mr. Parker is our youngest son's puppy which he got for Christmas this year or last year, however you want to look at it!! His papers state that he is a full blooded, registered yorkie, but he looks like he's honestly crossed with a weiner dog!! The ONLY thing that matters is he loves as much as he's loved!! We were HIGHLY mislead when discussing the "adoption" process, but he brings a smile and a confidence to our little feller, so that's ALL that matters!! Wouldn't trade him for all the chocolate in the world either!! :p
We are looking to add to our family with another little female. Found out that 2 males in a house of the 4 legged variety doesn't mix really well with carpet or furniture that has legs!! Had to mark everything with their scent!! We had to let our little broodle Kirby go back to live with my in-laws which liked to KILLED our family, but Papa needed a buddy and we know he's well loved and we do get to see him quite often!!
So, now we have decided that yorkies are the ultimate addition to a family, are learning the little "quirks" to ours now, enjoying them every day and looking forward to a long time together!!:p |
