Is this normal? When I take my doggie out to poo she will "start" at one point, and end at another! She does this walk/creep as she is pooing. I've never seen a dog do this before, does anyone else's York do this? |
Molly doesnt do it, but i have seen lots of dogs doing the very same thing, including my first dog willow. I really dont know why they do it though! :confused: |

Oliver does it! we call it watuzi dance ...then he does the leg fling thing :) i think they may do it because they do not want the little nuggets stuck on thier hair or step on the nuggets ...:D |
My little one doesn't do it all the time, but occasionally she will. She'll go in one spot and then decide that she doesn't want to stand there anymore and do the "poop walk." Now that I think of it, she hasn't done it in awhile, maybe because of the snow, but it's funny to watch. |

My late bichon, Barney, used to do that. My yorkie, Katy, scatters her poo behind as she poos and runs at the same time. My other baby yorkie, Sophie, lifts her leg when she goes potty just like a male dog. I think all dogs have little individual quirks. |
My Zada has always done this. She doesn't like to stand in one spot when she has to poo. :p |
oh funny, my silkie Chanel does that, she poops everywhere in the yard, and now that is cold and I lay the pee pads in the kitchen she spreads it all over the pads, sometimes I get one little poo in a whole clean pad..LOL we call it the poo walk...LOL hugs, carmen in nj |
yes, my boy does it to, I honestly believe this is because they have a threaded poo and they are actually somewhat done but because of the thread still hanging there :D, they will walk around until it totally comes out. Sometimes it almost looks like he is constipated...LOL :p |

Yes, Thor does the poop walk. :) He is such a darling dog, he's even cute when he's pooping! He hunches over with his little tail sticking straight out. He always poops with his back to me, and looks at me over his shoulder with one eye, to make sure I don't leave him in his compromised state I guess. I always thought walking must help push things down. Kind of like toilets in other countries, where you have to squat. |

LOL somehow, every couple of days our forum gets on the topic of POO! LOL Roscoe does the poopy dance, Sparkle drops and RUNS like the wind, never looks back. Sparkle also Pees while doing a handstand. It is so funny. I can't tell you how many times she has done a face plant but she sniffs around and finds a spot and seriously does a hand stand to pee, wont put her back legs down. If one goes down she stops going and tries again elsewhere. Before you ask, no I dont have a picture. LOL:eek: |

I read this thread yesterday and didn't post anything coz Pao doesn't usually do it but this morning he did it, pooped while walking and there was a trail and I remembered this thread on YT..somehow it made me smiled. |
