adult size i just weighed charlie earlie tonight. He is at 5lbs for 17months old. I hope his adult size is not over 10lbs. Does anyone know anything about adult sizes for yorkies. |
If he is 17 months old, i dont think he will get any bigger. |
17 months old? I think he is pretty much full grown. Might fill in a little yet, but that is about all. |
do you mean 17 months or 17 weeks? If he's 17 months, i wouldnt think he will get any bigger. |
I just read back in the other posts from New Proud Mom and saw that Charlie should be about 17 weeks. There is a permenent thread on sizing. But 6 months I was told a good rule of thumb is another 10-maybe 15 percent larger. This was the case with Max. *as with anything there is no way to know for sure exactly** |
If Charlie is 17 months old he will not get any bigger unless he overeats:p He;s within standard so he's perfect. If Charlie is 17wks (typo maybe) he may get to 10lbs full grown. Either way he's a winner. If you double their weight at 12wks (3months) and add 1lb that will give you an estimate of their adult weight. Hope that helps you, |
sorry, i wrote this thread late last night. I meant to say he is 17 wks old. |
