Getting the snowcilcles off! Our Gracie LOVES the snow. Every time we have a good snow her favorite thing to do it scamper through the new stuff!! The problem is when she comes it she is COVERED in snowcicles (little balls of snow that have frozen straight to her hair and paws). I have tried everything but it all seems to take forever and I'm sure it hurts having someone pull them off. I even tried wrapping her up in a blanket until they melted but she wanted very little of that. Any suggestions? |
Maybe you can blow dry her? You can use a normal blow-dryer and put it on low or medium heat. |
i put lacey in the sink and get them off with water then blow dry her to warm her up |
I'd use a blow dryer and low settings. |
To make it quick...why not put a towel in the dryer & wrap her in a nice warm towel? She may like that better than room temp. |
Maybe a towel warmed up in the dryer with plenty of snuggling?? I'd be afraid to run warm water or turn on a blow dryer because when my hands have been in snow--cold water even feels HOT. |
Yes Benny has that problem too. I usually put him in the sink under some lukewarm water and rinse it all out then wrap him in a towel or blowdry him. It doesn't seem to bother him anymore than a normal bath like temp wise. |
