Your baby is adorable!! I actually have a yorkie/JRT mix too although she doesn't look exactly like your little one -- I just *love* her!

It has been my experience that JRT's and Rat Terriers can be born with either a long or naturally bobbed tail. I think they look adorable either way. :)

oh WOW, I had no idea, I LOVE this forum for all the information you guys share, thank you very much, I think I read every book about JRT , I could get my hands on this past 2 months and I did not know that,...again thank you.

They actually look like they were docked. But they were born this way.

wow I didn't know that either. Thanks for the info. Always something new to learn on here! I think they are adorable either way myself. I just love puppies.

From what I can read on the coloring they will lighten up some more. That is the big mystery here.Just what will they grow up to be and just what changes will they go through. Shu-Shu was really a lot darker when she was born but she started getting lighter and she seems to be getting more color changes. I hate to get rid of her because I would like to see what she will turn out to be.

I had one guy call me about her and when I told him she was born with a bob tail he said she definatly has Jack in her!!!! He wanted an older dog tho

She looks just like her momma, but has the yorkie coloring.

I checked out your album-your babies are adorable! I just love your little boy's dark colouring-he looks like a tiny rottie!!! It would be interesting to see if the little girl changes colour, your boy is very dark and I'm assuming he'll stay that way since he is very tight coated like a smooth JRT, but you girl looks like she might be changing. She will look amazing if she does. It would be great if someone you knew could take her so we could watch her grow on YT:D

My little boy is very short legged . I won't care if he he keeps his smooth coat BUT on his underbelly he has some gold colored long hair?
