When Zaccheus wants me to play, he will bring me his toy. If I don't respond, he gives a little growl. But if I'm at the computer, he will tug on my pant leg. What does your doggie do to get your attention? :D

Bark!!! :D No, my Max will do the same thing. He'll bring the toy and push up against my leg - telling me to try to grab it and then chase him. (And he does talk! :D) He does the same thing to his sister Mia. Only she's half his size and doesn't really appreiate it too much. But he does get her going because of it... so he does accomplish what he set out to do. LOL!

Mia isn't into toys like Max - she loves to go on "Cat Patrol". She will bark to go outside or into the garage to the little vent so that she can see if the cat is out there.

Both are hilarious!

Abigail will come up to me and nudge me with her paw...then if I don't respond, she will bark and I look down and if there is a toy there, I know she wants to play. If not, I'll put my hand down and if she wants me to hold her, she will hop into my hand or a few times, I could tell she wanted something--like a treat if she had pottied! They really know how to let you know what they want.

Gracie Ruth will bring a toy to you, squeak it a few times then drop it at your feet and stare atyouatthetoyatyouatthetoyatyouatthetoy until you pick it up and throw it. She'll run get it, walk back slowly squeaking it the entire time, get to you squeak it a few more times then drops it at your feet and starts the whole staring thing until you throw it again. If for some totally unacceptable reason, like you are getting out of the shower, or getting dressed or talking to DH or unconscious passed out in a coma :p and don't hear the squeaking or see the toy she'll poke you with her nose...several times...harder and harder...until you realize that anything else that you might be doing is simply not as important as giving Her Royal Highness, Diva of the World, Goddess of Retribution-if-you-don't-give-me-attention-right-now the attention she is due. :rolleyes: If all else fails she'll go beat up on her brother until he cries and I'll have to holler at her to cut it out! Now that she has my attention, she'll pick up the nearest toy and will squeak it as she walks over to me and the whole thing starts all over again. :p She's a hoot, lordy I love that girl!!

Zacchie doesn't bark at me, he gives me a tiny little growl-type sound, that isn't really a growl. I wish I could post it, somehow.
He is eight and a half months old, and a real brat. I can't believe how much I love him! But, in spite of the fact that I have hand raised him from five days old, he is quite the daddy's boy. He only wants me if daddy isn't home.

Zaccheus and Gracie Ruth are precious.
When Tricksie wants to play she brings her toy no to close to me and when I look at her she gets in the attack mode, down on her front legs and back one are up.
She also nudges me with it.

It's the cutest thing. She is soooo focused on the toy, just waiting to pounce on it. She would have been a great hunter and provider for her pack in the wild. You know...if Yorkies still roomed in packs...in the wilds of Yorkshire...and hunted squeaky/fuzzy yellow duckies. :D

Gracie does that funny noise too. I call it a yammering. Gracie is very vocal, yet not barky. She does bark, but she also yammers, yodels, chitters, talks on and on to me. All 3 are talkers, but G is the most vocal. :)

Bella, my little one, sits and waves at you and if you don't notice she barks. That is SO cute!!!! I really need to get it on film. My big girl, Rosie, jumps up and down until you notice her. If you fail to pay attention she gives you the stare like Eddie on Frasier. That creeps my husband out. LOL:aimeeyork:aimeeyork

Bentley does the "chattering" thing as well. Not really growling but more of a "mumbling under his breath". He will make a few whiney sounds (at various frequencies) as well. He does this whenever he wants attention and EVERY time I go to the restroom. Apparently I need "someone" to speak to me in order to be able to use the potty. Also, and the only time he really does this consistently is when I am on the potty, if I fake sneeze, he will fake sneeze right back at me. :yelrotflm It just cracks me up every time :yelrotflmRestroom time has become so much more entertaining since he joined my life. :yelrotflm

I haven't been to the bathroom by myself in years! :eek: I'm like, hello, look this is the same room you can't get out of when it's bath time. You know there's only one way in and one way out. I'm not going in and sneak out the back door...because there is no back door! :D:D

Love the fake sneeze thing. That is too, too cute! Yogi sneezes at me to get my attention. It's very funny because sometimes he has to sneeze several times in a row before I'll realize what he's doing and look at him. Poor little guy's going to hurt himself one of these days. :rolleyes:

And Cricket ALWAYS has to go with me to the bathroom. What is UP with that?

My guys kill me when I'm on the computer they all sit there and moan. Unfortunately I only have one lap. LOL
