I have the ice on ice leave in conditoner, I know a lot of the ones on here really like it, myself, I never use it. I used it before, but, to me, it makes my dogs hair very greasy looking and never takes out the matts. |
You don't want a stripping knife for a Yorkie. They're made to strip out the dead top coat of harsh coated dogs when they blow, just leaving the soft undercoat & the new tight, hard coat that's coming in to replace the old one. It usually happens twice a year & needs stripping out, instead of clipping which leaves the old dead hair intact & restricts the new growth. I have to do this with my Cairns to keep them in good coat for showing, but Yorkies have a much finer single coat, with no undercoat, that doesn't blow & shed. A stripping knife will ruin it. I have the CC Gold pin brush for my Yorkies, amongst about 50 million others! :D I have Ice on Ice but can't make up my mind if I like it or not, it doesn't seem to help that much on mine  xx Meggie |
