I saw this picture on the web. It said that he weighed almost 275 lbs. and ate 75 lbs. of Dog Food per week. I forget how much meat they added too!! I had a 130 pound Great Dane , I thought she was big!!! Glad I have my Yorkie and Pap, esp. with the cost of everything today!! :D:eek::yorkiesar: and Papillions too!!! dogwalk: |

If this is a real life dog, OMG! I've seen a similiar picture of a dog on craigslist but the dog was not as big, but almost! Where in the heck does that dog sleep, he must have is OWN bedroom with his OWN QUEEN size bed!! |
I think the picture is photoshopped. One reason is that look at the dog compared to the horse the dog is half the horses size. Most horses range in the 1000lb range. It just seems that if the dog were truly that large he would weigh more than what they say he weighs. I think he would also be in the Guinness Book of World Records which he is not.:thumbdown |
I don't know if it's real or not , but if it is ..all I can say is WOW ! I would hate to have to feed it :eek: If it got hungry enough it may try to eat me ! I was looking at pet teeth products and it was on the petzlife home page ( under fun ....i think) . It says his name is Hercules and he was in the Guinness book of records . IDK though , I guess the net can say anything :) still it freaked me out a bit ! |

I know that mastiffs get big but this dog is way out of the big range. My cousin has owned mastiffs for as long as I can remember some have crossed the 220lb mark but come on this dog looks more in the 400 - 500lb range. It is definitely photoshopped. I didn't even see the grass is part of the mans shirt, good eye!!! |

1 Attachment(s) I sat next to an English Mastiff at a recent dog show, and he weighed 240 lbs. He was only 2 years old and they expected him to top out at about 260 lbs. This dog had the most massive head! When he stood he was elbow high with the owner. They said they had never seen a larger mastiff in the US, but England had them that big or larger. Here is a picture of the dog -- doesn't do him justice, for sure. |

There are very large dogs out there but this one is a fake, it's way out of proportion to everything else as well. I give the person credit though for a good laugh! :D |
