Sleepy Yorkies Do your yorkies go to bed when you do? Ours wait till we say it's bed time... they jump up and run to the bedroom to hunker down in our bed for the night! I sometimes have to go get them to take them out to potty, when they are very quick!!!' They sleep through the night and get up when we get up! Sometimes they even sleep in! It's the funniest thing. Any one else have dogs that go to bed with them like this??? |
No one responded  I feel SAD! |

Sadie loves a belly rub. She rolls over in the morning when we start moving around to get up! |
Mine are like yours - as soon as I say 'time to go nigh-nigh' they hightail it to the bedroom and wait for me to open the gate so they can jump on the bed:rolleyes: |

Same thing My little girl Mia. Waits till I go to bed. The she jumps all around the bed to try to get on it. I tried not letting her on the bed but then she jumps all night to get on it. So I dont sleep because of her. I see the head pop up all around the bed until I bring her up. She sleeps all night but I dont. I keep thinking I'm going to crush her. I wish she would sleep on her bed next to mine. Plus she wakes me up to go pee and poop. |
Mine go to bed when we do too. I say "bedtime", and they run to the bathroom. We have a nightly routine with the PetzLife and getting washed before bed. Plus, they get a massage, so they love it. They go right to sleep, then they get up when I do.:) |
Time to go night-night! I usually tell Rudy it's time to go night night and he follows me to the bedroom. Then we have to play tug for a few minutes and then he curls up in his bed which is on mine. Sometimes I'll wake up and he has moved to the area behind my legs all snuggled up. I love my lil bed buddy. |

Im going to start that what do you do? |
Gucci is in bed everynight no later than 10 p.m but usually at 9, he lets me know he's tired by barking at the x-pen or crying towards it ( we are usually in the room ). I comb his hair and fix everything in there for him and let him in. If for some reason I am up and have him up with me, he just falls alseep in my arms. Then we he gets to the X-pen he usually picks a spot to sleep since he has a Round Bed and Snuggle Sack, A Large Pillow and Blanky, and A Mini Pillow Monkey Buddy for choices.. HE ALWAYS PICKS THE SNUGGLE SACK AND BED FIRST later if he gets hot he moves to the Pillow or the Monkey then back to the Snuggle Bed lol. He does this EVERYNIGHT and he also Sleeps ALL NIGHT and wakes me up in the morning by Barking directly at me until I get up lol. |

Mine tell me when its time to go to bed . They look at me with the ¨ its time to sleep now , what are you waiting for ¨ look . |
Baxter is on a pretty good schedule but he is hard to get to sleep sometimes. He is home alone most of the day so that is understandable. But he never lets me sleep in - he knows it is time for me to get up. If I get up for a while then we can go back to bed for a nap but 6:00 is rise and shine time. |
Aww I hate that. Mia does the same thing. She runs like a horse everywhere. Crashes into everything because is dark in my room. When I put her in the crate she digs and digs and whines and whines. Is a never ending story. The only way I can get her to sleep is by allowing her on my bed. I want to get her off that habbit too. Mia is 4 months old tomorrow. I'm working on getting her to love the crate is getting better. |
Annie B was a very scheduled girl. Bedtime was 9p.m. and if you weren't headed to bed she'd stay up for a little while then she'd just go and get in bed by herself. Our 3 know when Dad says "Bedtime" to head for the bedroom". Once in bed Gracie Ruth and Yogi want to play Bed Monsters for a few minuets before going to sleep. Bed Monsters is were you run your hand around under the covers and they attack and kill the monster until a new one shows up in a different spot. This is a must before going to bed and if Boo makes the mistake of getting under the covers during this game...well...any movement under the covers is fair game. :p He's learned to crawl in behind me so that I'm between him and those "pesky kids." :D |
Lexi usually comes to bed with me. If I'm up late sometimes she'll go to bed by herself. Occationally she chooses to sleep else where, like on the couch, in her bed or in her kennel. She is not set into one routine. |
Turk stays up until 10-10:30. Once we say goodnight and shut the kitchen lights off(we keep 2 nightlights on for him), he knows it's bedtime. |
Mine sleep pretty well But one is a much better sleeper than the other it's funny when I go get them in the morning they are both up when they hear me coming but Mike ... the one who likes to sleep you can tell is still bleary eyed and is only up because his brother woke him  |
Mine start to unwind and slow down (like the Slowsky turtles) about 7 PM. I hold and pet them, rub their bellies and heads and watch TV until about 8 PM and then I tuck them in. The youngest puppy still sleeps in her covered carrier and the elder puppy sleeps right tight next to me. After the youngest is spayed and healed I will let her sleep with me, too. |
Molly usually goes into her bed when she sees me getting ready for bed, but then about an hour after the central heating goes off, she sneaks onto my bed and snuggles down for the night. |
Our routine is pretty set in stone. Once I ask her "ready to go to bed?" she'll run for the bathroom. I brush my teeth and wash her face. She then darts in the bedroom and on to the bed. She'll race up down over and across me under the blanket. It's a game for me to chase her. Once I pin her and rub her belly she curls up to my chest and goes to sleep. She'll stay under the blankets all night long. She LOVES to cuddle:) |
Suri goes to sleep at the same time as I do, but she sleeps in her crate. I tell her it is time to go nite nite and I open the crate door and tell her to get in.She loves her crate because she has a very comfy snuggle sack. |
For the first couple of weeks that I had Missy she slept in her crate inside an ex-pen. Then she started to whine throughout the night, so I moved her to my bed. Since she's been in my bed, she sleeps through the night. I have to wake her up in the morning! And to think I was worried that I wouldn't get a decent sleep with her there. She sleeps better than me! |
