Dog Whisperer He had a great show this morning. A Lhasa Apso, Miss Jody, that had problems. One was eating her poop, he confined her where she had pooped on the floor and when she went near it, he would let her smell a banana to distract her, then give her a bite. Said it was a lack of potassium that made her eat the poop. She had other issues and his Daddy Pitbull helped train Miss Jody. |
I noticed Last time I watched he had a Yorkie in his pack. He or she just ran with the big dogs. Interesting. I like to watch the show. The "ccchhh" command definitely works for me with Bella for barking and when she gets in her friend Bentley face too long. :):aimeeyork |
I will try the "ccchhh" command with the vacuum off as NewYorkieLover suggested, thanks. |
I am addicted to this show too. I ordered a t shirt from his website that says "Pack Leader" on it and can't wait to get it. I also ordered one of his books. It is amazing how fast he can rehabilitate bad behavior. |
we love Cesar here too and the pssssssssssssst method has worked wonders. I am definitely the pack leader in my house and that has helped sooooooo much!! I saw a shirt once for a little dog that said, "I Made Cesar Cry". :lol tearsI thought that was hilarious since Cesar does seem to get frustrated with these little dogs. Catching them seems to be his main problem! LOL!! |
Bella grew up as we call it..the Cesar way. i am definately the pack leader in our house. She is such a good puppy. I can make a slight noise and she knows exactly what i want from her. I ofter wonder what type of dog she would have been with out the knowledge we got from Cesar |
fufufashions I did see that with the little yorkie he was trying to teach not to attack the iron cord and ironing board. He could catch him neither could his owner. so funny.:eyetearss:aimeeyork |
Ceasar is also a big hit in our too! I loved the episode with the Yorkie who would attack the owner's daughter. The one with the blind Yorkie was a good one too!! I just wish he would visit us up north here! LOL |

I have been a lucky first time Yorkie Mom, have not had many problems with my girl, THE PROBLEM is the DH, she demands food from him, she seems to have springs in her legs when he is eating and barks none stop. She does not do that with me. At least I taught the DH what NOT to feed her. Maybe I can get Cesar to come train him, But, I don't think he can be trained. |
I have had good luck with all my yorkies. They have been the best thing to happen. But training can be hard. But I know what you mean about training them. They can be hard headed!! LOL:D But if there is any one that can help Cesar can!!! |
I love Cesar because he looks like my Hubby. We use his methods with our Pac...Love Him and what he does for all dogs... |
I love Cesar too! I just have a question. How do you ge t to be in his show? I have issues with Chikis our Chi. I have tried his methods. Yes, I have watched him since the first season, but obviously, I'm doing something wrong. Hubby says that he charges to come to your house with the whole tv show. I thought b/c he is paid by Nat Geo he wouldn't charge you to be on his show with your doggie. Am I right or wrong?:) |
Looking for cases in So California They are looking for new stories/cases in Southern California, here is the link to audition: http://www.cesarmillaninc.com/dogwhi...ubmissions.php |
I watched his 100 episode show the other day ( not sure if it was a rerun or new one) I loved the look on his face when he saw Lassie....You know what...I think I have a little Cesar crush going on :p I noticed he's kind of a hottie ;) |
