My new baby I have an 11 week old little girl. She had her kennel cough nasal injection and 6 days later was sneezing. The Vet has her on antibiotics and said it's a respiratory thing. I feel so sad listening to the sneezing, although it seems to be getting a little better. This started on Christmas. Do you think it is possible that the nasal injection could be having her make antibodies? Since it is a sneeze and not a cough, the Vet thought it might be bacterial or viral. In any event the amoxicillin should take care of it. Has anyone experienced a dog cold before. She is only a little over a pound. She plays with my other dogs and eats well. I felt guilty about it but the Vet said you get it from the air. I took home a healthy puppy and a week later, she's sneezing. Judy |
awww, I'm sorry to hear your little girl isn't feeling 100%. :( I hope she's doing better soon. My Yogi sneezes to get my attention. It's so cute. Of course, if I don't immediately give him my attention I get the "Momma! Look at me!" bark. :p |
Isn't that funny .... My guys got the EXACT samething They went for their innoculation and came down with a cold the next day Sneezing like crazy they have been on Amoxicillin But in reality ... if it's a virus the antibiotic isn't going to do much |
