Bath water temp. I'm always worried about the water temp. when I'm bathing Callie and I was wondering if the water is the same temp. as the water you would use when bathing a human baby? If it is I was thinking about buying one of those duckies in the baby section that u put in the bath and it tells you if the water is to hot or cold. |

Dogs don't tolerate hot water as well as humans, and this is especially true of puppies. The water should be more on the cool side, never hot. Think tepid. This is one of my pet peeves, and I think more dogs hate baths because the water used is too hot! |

I always try to imagine like you said a comfortable temp for a baby - I do check it with my wrists and then I tend to make it just a little less warmer if it feels perfect on the inside of my wrist. I too wonder if I get it too warm or too cold. I would guess it's better to err on the side of just a little too cool as opposed to a little too warm. |
